"There it is." Gawain announced slapping Belin on the knee, to wake him up from his dreaming. The three of them sat on the Back of Brastias as he swam surprisingly quick through the waters just outside of Port Umi. Gawain was just impressed that the Big Rock Dragon could float.
The early mist of the morning clouded much of the village which at this moment was silhouetted by the rising sun. It looked like they'd be arriving just after dawn. Gawain puffed out his chest and made sure that his hair was in it's proper style. You only make a first impression once. He didn't want the villagers of this town to think that they were just some rag tag collection of vagrants. They'd hardly earn any trust that way now would they. Though looking at Belin it was possible that, that'd happen no matter what. To say that the man had an interesting taste in fashion would be to say that the ocean was deep in parts.
For the first time in History The Three Dragons Slayers walked together as a troop. The three stood proudly as the entered into the down of Port Umi, their Dragon's not far behind. Well standing proudly was a relative term. Princess Gwyn was sitting on his shoulders as they descended into the town. He glowed with pride as the villagers came out to meet them, this was the princess' first time entreating with commoner's since her exile. She'd dealt with them, but she'd never actually dealt with them in crowds. Which was really the only time when they mattered. He was proud of her, she was giggling and waving to them all, blowing kisses. It seemed that they'd all come out just to see her.
Okay that wasn't true. The Truth was that Sir Kay was walking just a few meters behind them, and he was making the earth shake with each and every step that he took. He was like a mountain on legs, and garnered a lot of attention that wise ninja would have been weary of. However they weren't ninja they were knight and princesses, and people needed to know. They did not sneak around in the darkness, they stood in the light to protect the people, and their honor. "Rest easy in knowing that our dragons mean no one any harm. They are gentle souls. They are here to protect you!"
With that he'd take Gwyn off of his shoulders and hold her high up above his head like she was Simba. "My good people I present to Princess Gwynevere Terumi of The Land of Rain. Long has she traveled the lands in search of a home worthy, and virtuous enough to hold her and her grand morals! She has at last deemed your town worthy of this incredible honor! Welcome us with open arms and you shall have the greatest order of knights this realm has ever seen protecting your village. What so you my good people?"

Gwynevere giggled from her view atop of Gawain's shoulders. He was just so much taller than everyone else in the village that he made for perfect steed for her to ride in to battle on. Though as she giggled and waved at the crowd she could see Igraine weacing through the air not too far away from her. As she looked at the beasts silky silver hair flowing with each and every movement of her body Gwyn couldn't help but wonder how much fun it would be to ride on her.
"You look great Princess." The Dragon spoke within her mind.
Gwyn blushed and hide her face in Gawain's white hair. She loved the voice that her dragon spoke in, it gave her heart a warm beating pump. She reminded her of her own mother. It was a warm happy voice that made Gwyn want to curl up like a kitten and purr.
"Thank you." Gwyn answered bashfully from within her own mind. "She still didn't know how to feel about The dragon who'd emerged out of the ocean to save her life. Maybe she didn't even need to. She knew that she was pretty, pretty and sweet. Just being around Igraine made Gwyn feel as calm as the surface of a lake.
"No need to be shy around me Princess." The dragon reassured her companion. "I'm your dragon because you and I are a perfect match. Don't let your shyness get in the way of us being best friends."
Gwyn smiled shyly feeling a blush rise up her cheeks. "Okay." She giggled from within her mind. "I've just never met anyone like you before. That's all."
"Well I hope not." Igraine giggled herself. Her serpent like body sailed through the air like she was swimming in water. "I wouldn't be very special if you saw water dragons all over the place now would I?"
Gwyn giggled once more, but his time much more openly. "No I guess not!" Then Gawain lifted her from around his neck and into the air. "Eep!" She announced feeling her body go limp as she was held high and introduced to the village. "Hi." She announced with a nervous giggle and hand wave.
"She's so cuuuuuuuute!" Some lady from within the crowd squealed, and was soon followed by an entire chorus of excited squeaks.
"They're cheering for you princess." Igraine announced proudly.
"Yeah but not for the right reasons." Gwyn pouted. It was usually fun being eternally nine years old. She never had a worry, and never got tired. But when it came to people taking her seriously, well she was kind of out of luck.

Belin vreathed in delightfully as the felt the great dragon Sir Kay sway underneath him. The morning dewy mist seemed to great him with such an estatic welcoming hat he could hardly keep himself still. The dragon swam through the waters of the bay it's enormous body leaving a wakeinthe same manner that a great ship would were it to traverse teh same waters. Belin did so love the mornings. Heloved looking out across a misty steamy sea to see the sun obscured by the cold mist of the morning. He laid on his back and looked at the tree growing upon the back of Sir Kay. As he looked up from the ground that was Sir Kay's back. He wondered what sort of tree it was. What sort of strange thing could possibly grow so high and sturdy upon the back of a dragon. Belin had travled far and wide across this world, and had never seen anything like these creatures who called themselves their companions. He'd travled into the lands of spirits, and even talked them, he'd brougten dolls to life from nothing but cloth and stuffing, and he'd still never seen anything quite as fantastic as the beasts that were traveling with them now. He looked up at his own beast. Brastias the lightning dragon. His sleak and dynamic design of his form made him look wholly unnatural. Of course this beast could breath lightnng from it's mouth which didn't help him seem like athing entierly out of nature. He wondered if the hing had any more strange and unusual tricks up it's sleeve. He'd spoken to the great dragon only in passing. Which was very strange because you'd think that if you knew a dragon you wouldn't be able to shut up around it, but no. Some how in some way Belin had managed to mot have much of a conversation at all with the thing that was suppose to be his greatest companion in the the world. Still he did have the spirits of two diffrent people sitting on his shoulders so he didnt' really feel like he was missing out on much with him not talking to his dragon. He didn't want the field to get terribly croweded as far a dialouge was concerned. When they made land Belin jumped from the dragon and brushed himself off. The people all around the port were giving the three of them awfully suspicious looks which was under standable. They did come in riding on dragons after all. You don't make an entrance like that without bringing some attention to you and your marry band of misfits. Still he straighted up his out fits, and his voodoo fetishes. Even if he was going to make an impresssion no matter what he did he didn't feel like one of the man he'd make today to be 'look at how poorly dressed that witch doctor is. It's not exactly common knowledge but witch docors are very particular about how they look. Out of all the supersticious pseudo religious priests that exist in the world, they were by far the most fashion oriented. Sprits wouldnt' even look your way if you weren't at least half way descently dressed. He greeted the people of town with wide swooping hand waves as well as kisses being thrown here and there. People didn't seem to be acting awfully impressed with them wich was kind of annoying Belin. Didn't they see that they were by far the most intresting people to walk through these streets in it's history. Belin had no doubt that while at this moment this town was nothing more than a small fishing village. But they would change that. Well in a good way. Not like this may be a peaceful place for now, but that was about to change as in they were going to mess stuff up. Oh no they were going to turn it from a small fishing village to a really big fishing village. People may even go so far as calling it one of the major villages in the world one day. Maybe he was getting a little ahead of himself, but without a doubt the arrival of the dragon slayers was going to indicate a great change for this village. One that brought it out from the depths of abscurity into the light. That was their promise. That was what their knighthood prmosed and demanded. This village would be a great and virtious place of honor and knight hood. He may have been a simple witch doctor, but he was learning from Gawain. A mighty and virtious warrior if ever he'd seen one. Honorable too. So quick and willing to take a vagabond like himself up into his order. Belin has honored. He seemed to him like a man willing to put an end to vilolence. A man willing to listento he tenants of faith and honor. Belin had seen too much blooshed in his time in the land of fire. Too many Uchiha and Senju killing off one another like there was nothing to it. Not Him, no sir. Not Belin of the Asura Clan! He was a ritheous man. And would make this a ritheous land. So beyond the fueds and blood shed of his home land. He knew who would do it too. It would be Gwynevere. His princess. She was the one who would unite this land. Belin knew not how, but he knew that it would be so. When he first looked upon her small fram he knew she was it. The one. An angel in the clothing of a child. A child of hope, an purity. Maybe he was just being over poetic, or even pretentios, but he felt it to be true within the heart of his soul. The first time that he'd seen her he'd seen the purity of that soul of her's. She was indeed a thing of beauty, on the inside and out. He'd seen her beyond the realm of mortals and men. He'd seen her in the spirit realm. Seen her bright shinig soul. It stood firm in a realm that was nothing but swirling twisting shadows. She was light a great lighthouse before a stormy port.

Kind of a luke warm greeting they were receiving in the village so far. They had three F-ing dragon's for Christ sake. You'd think that would at least rise some interest. But no to these people they were just some more crazy people walking through their village looking to rule it. They were absolutely right, but they were here to rule it for the right reasons. They weren't just power hungry mongrels. They were here to protect and serve, and the people needed to see that. Needed to bathe in the glory that was the three dragon slayers.
Up ahead was the town square. There was a fountain in the middle, and it looked like the perfect place to give a fiery speech.
He tucked Gwyn safely underneath his arm pit and sprinted for the fountain. With a swift and nimble jump he landed on the tip of the structure. He could feel the water splashing against the underside of his junk as he stood up there. He didn't mind. He just hoped that no one else noticed it and thought any less of him. "I fear that you all didn't hear me!" Gawain announced placing the princess back on his shoulders. "We are mighty knights here to serve your village! We serve her! The princess Gwynevere the pure. Give us a task worthy of us three knights and we will see it done!"

Gwynevere didn't really know what it was that was going on with her, she just knew that she was going on for the ride. She consigned herself to be a prop for Gawain to wave around for the time being. It's not that she didn't have any pride in herself, she just felt like for the time being this was her best bet. She didn't quite know what he had up his boney sleeves. She felt that at the moment it was best for her to just look cute and charming.
People may not have been impressed with her at the moment, but soon she'd show the people what she had up her own sleeve. She knew that Gawain seemed like the power behind the throne kind of person, but that was a cleverly developed fascade the two of them had managed to create over their years of friend ship. When one of you was an eternal nine year old it was hard to people not to think of the older one as the leader. But lest you forget Gwyn was royalty. A princes! She knew how to rule, and she knew when to let other people think that they were the ones doing the ruling.
For now she thought that Gawain had a pretty good idea having them take on a task to earn the respect of the village. Gwynevere nodded and added her own addition to the request. "Yeah! Give us your most impossible task. Something that all other warriors have failed to accomplish up until now! We three great warriors will do your will!"
What was this? They had nothing? No challenge worthy of the warriors three? Well what an idealic and Eden like town this must have been. If it was truly free of any woes that could not be solved by the likes of the princess and her three warriors then it was blessed indeed. Still this would be terribly embarrassing if they didn't come up with anything. As warriors they lived and died by their reputation if people just thought of them as three boastful nit wits. Then that wouldn't be gelling.
Belin too jumped on top of that Fountain and struck a heroic pose. "Well even if you don't want us to help we're going to anyway. We're going to slay your local dragon and free it's treasure cove! Then do you know what we're going to do? We're going to give all of that money back to you guys! As a gesture of good will towards you are!" He grabbed Gawain's hand and threw both of them up into the air. "We are Gywn, Gawain, and Belin! The Three Dragon Slayers!" He paused and whispered under his breath. "Also Igraine, Sir Kay, and Brastias The Dragons!" He paused once more. "No no don't worry it's cool. We don't slay them. They're our friends! Well actually Brastias almost caused us all to fall to our deaths. But they all ended up saving us in the end so we're cool. Huh what's that? Well because we slay dragons. Why do they help? I dunno? People help people kill people. No even better than that? Dogs help people kill other animals! What? No I'm not calling them dogs! Well it was just an example. Well you come up with a better analogy!"
Gawain bit his lip and tried to keep from growling at Belin. They were only called dragon slayers! Thus far they had absolutely no experience actually fighting Dragons. Heck they didn't even know anything about their own dragons yet. Now they were suppose to kill one. Belin you fool!
Still in front of all these people Gawain could not back down. It was impossible. A knight never backed down from a challenge. He held his head high and went forth a brave warrior calling out in the name of justice. Good God they were all going to die.
"Yes!" Gawain announced at the very least sounding confident. "Well... Slay your dragon." The crowd wooped and hollered, and all Gawain could do was smile and wave.

Gwynevere giggle and nodded her head from Gawain's shoulder. "Yep yep yep! Will give you all free money!" She felt Gawain being to move back through the crowd and he was bringing Gwynevere with her. "Okay byyyyyyy everyone! We're off to go slay that dragon wish us luck!" She smiled and climbed on top of Gawain's shoulders. Her face was flush. Boy life sure was exciting around here!
