Puppet Users and rules
Puppet mastery and jutsu are not something that any shinobi can just pick up and learn. It is a difficult process to even learn to construct chakra threads let alone manipulate a puppet. Mind you this is during the times when most jutsu were experimental and the puppet arts are just now beginning to take shape. Those who find themselves a teacher is extremely lucky. Most ninja will discover this while practicing and will have to devote long hours to learning to manipulate things with their chakra threads.
To use puppets the user must learn Chakra Threads
There are some limits to what a puppet user can do however. Each puppet user can make one (1) chakra thread from each finger. This is the number of threads each rank of puppet requires:
D: 1
C: 2
B: 3
A: 5
S: 8
SS: 10
Puppets are manipulated at the speed of the user's chakra stat. The puppets have a strength of the users strength.
Puppets must be constructed using the same WC as jutsu of the same rank, they can also be purchased from the store for double the WC as ryo. When buying a puppet from the store it has no Mechanisms. puppets built by the puppeteer can have up to 3 mechanism built in already.
Mechanisms can be built for 2000 wc or 4000 ryo. A puppet's maximum number of mechanisms is decided by the rank of the puppet. The rank of the puppet also limits the ability of the mechanism. Also you need to use common sense with what mechanisms are put in or on your puppet. A mouse sized puppet should not be able to use a 6m cannon. Puppets maximum allowed mechanisms are:
D Rank: 1
C Rank: 5
B Rank: 8
A Rank: 10
S Rank: 15
SS Rank: 20
Above is the maximum number of mechanisms allowed for each rank of puppet.
D Rank: 20
C Rank: 30
B Rank: 50
A Rank: 70
S Rank: 100
SS Rank: 150
This is the health that the puppet begins at. it is also the bonus that mechanisms may have, be it health sharpness speed or strength.
By paying the difference between the rank of your puppet and the next rank you are able to increase the rank of your puppet. this automatically upgrades your mechanisms as well.
ALL MECHANISMS MUST BE REGISTERED AND APPROVED. Mechanisms are free range. anyone can build any mechanism into their puppet if they pay the appropriate cost. HOWEVER all puppets are unique and are required to have a stat page for their mechanisms. You can only have one of each puppet and you can't have the same puppet as someone else. (examples of mechanisms: armor plating to increase health, hidden weapons, detachable parts) Mechanisms can be removed and interchanged.
Spare parts cost 2000WC or 4000 ryo and can be used to completely repair a broken puppet. this will be an item in the shop.
The creation of a puppet must be approved however the actual puppet does not need to be approved only the mechanisms. Therefore the Puppet stats will be the stat page that you update with additions to your puppet. This will be like your character stat page.
Human Puppets are different however their rules can be found
here. Regardless all puppets natural stats cannot exceed 200, in any given stat, by the installation of mechanisms. Jutsu can raise their stats higher than that.
