Deep within the forest of the Fire Country, Kaito stood at the center of a massive platform. The platform belonged to an ancient temple that was once used by the indegenous people, now extinct. It was deteriorated and aged. Moss grew onto a majority of the surface, making it seem like a green sea, and vines spread around the edges. To one who enjoyed natural scenery, this was heaven. In fact, that was the reason he had chosen this place as a "home" for the meanwhile. The young Uchiha was still revovering from the loss of the only one who could have been a lover. Training here would be the perfect remedy.
Since the platform was constructed outside of the temple, he was able to see the surrounding rainforest. To tell you the truth he was enjoying this. If this was going to help him get over what happened this would certainly help. He stood there meditating, his palms sealed together. A common practice was too strip himself of everything but his pants. Not only did it make him lighter and more in tune with the natural element of being in the woods, but it personally made him look cooler. Before he could begin he'd channel his chakra throughout his body. It wasn't exactly necessary, but he felt like it really helped him. Deep inhale. Deep exhale. Kaito'd repeat the process until he felt comfortable. Any moment now, there'd be some rainfall. Kaito was so familiar with these lands that he was becoming a natural at predicting the weather in these parts.
If he was right, it'd tie in with what he was going to be training, the Lightning element. Having been an A-Rank level shinobi it was a shame that he had not awakened his second element. Today that was going to change. He would not leave this place until he was able to use Lightning based techniques! Thinking about it made his chakra rage! It was beginning to affect the platform, causing it to vibrate lowly, for it was hollow. The vibration ceased when he opened his eyes, a look of determination planted on his face. In order to use the Lightning element, one had to believe they were like lightning. They'd have to let their chakra surge throughout their body, like an electrical shock. They'd have have to allow their chakra to transform quickly and precisely like a bolt of lightning. But first, he'd have to make sure that his body was ready to handle this. Kaito had already warmed up his chakra flow, not it was time to get his body on the same page.
He quickly ran up to the edge of the platform and jumped off, landing on a massive branch below. Upon landing he quickly jumped onto another. He made it a personal goal to leave the branch in no less than one second. This would help him move faster to strike opponents with blinding speed, like a bolt of lightning striking the earth. Like a monkey, he jumped from tree to tree, making sure that he followed through with his goal. Not one single landing lasted more than one second! Kaito looked like a blur moving through the forest. Bare footed, his movements were silent. They were hidden by the rain that began to fall. Thunder was like music to his ears as he moved swiftly and nimbly. He was moving so fast that the circled around the main area over three times already. When he reached the fifth lap he stopped back at the platform. Kaito would lean forward and catch his breathe. "That was pretty fun..." At the sight of the first lightning bolt, he figured that it'd be time to work on forming lightning from his own body. The clouds would be his inspiration. They would also be his mentor for now.
Kaito would kneel down and set his hand out, palm faced up. He'd begin to think of his chakra running through his body; pretending that it was an electrical current. Yellow chakra would seep through his flesh, encasing his hand. The more he focused he could see some sparks forming. Electricity was beginning to generate at his palm. "Just a little more." More sparks danced about as the electricity began generating around his whole hand. Just a little more and he could make some lightning. It just required more effort.
