Roar, Slayer of Dragons! (P, NK, Solo)

The heat bore down upon Ukiyoe Town as our young master class ninja walked silently through the dusty roads, his eyes dull as though viewing something far away and everything around him was unimportant. Thankfully due to his natural reflexes many were spared being bumped into as the young bluenette slowly made his way towards his apartment, a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom setup which while one could consider it small he found it to be quite efficient. Unlocking his door and pushing in open into the entryway he would quickly drop his groceries on the kitchen table for later before leaving just as quickly towards an area full of sparse vegetation that he had found himself visiting more and more often lately. Namely, the training grounds. Picking up his speed he would smile slightly as he felt the wind blow against his face as he kicked up quite the whirlwind in a dash towards the area. Eventually coming to a stop in a dry and dusty field he would come to a gradual stop in the form of a slide, leaving a final train of sand in his wake as he began to breathe deeply in order to control his emotions. That's right, today he was going to need lot's of it if he had any hopes of gaining control over this new thing that Truth had given him. Damn the bastard, not even giving him much knowledge on the issue. Making a cross with his fingers two shadow clones would poof into existence as they began to charge two spiralling balls of chakra, while he himself would run through a string of hand seals causing a dragon of wood to spring the ground into the rasengan's path but to no avail, for the poorly formed dragon was quickly split in two by just the efforts of one rasengan. Noting the ongoing chakra of the two ninja he would quickly draw Yukianesa from it's sheath with a satisfying 'schweeeeen' kind of sound, a wall of ice erupting between them with the rasengan's would drive some nice holes into before dissipating. Watching his sheepish looking clones through the translucent wall of glass Makussu would adopt a thinking look as he thought on how to perfect this wooden dragon of his.

379 towards Dragon Force

Eventually Makussu’s head would rise again towards his shadow clones, a rather simple solution in his head. Normally he was used to using only a minute amount of chakra in his techniques, seeing as most wind jutsu needed to be monitored very heavily with chakra input as otherwise they tend to become wild and unfocused. The thing with wood though it seemed, was that one needed quite a larger supply otherwise it would become brittle and unable to guard much against others. Weaving through the hand seals he would saturate the ground in his chakra as a dragon made of wood erupted through the earth, this time with a much darker color indicating that it had successfully been strengthened. Ripping through the now melting ice as though it were tissue paper the snake would wrap around the clones and squeeze them of their chakra, dispelling them in twin clouds of smoke leaving him alone in the clearing. The feeling of the chakra strangely made him feel…..exhilarated in a sense. It cleared his senses and made them sharper, as though everything had been through a faraway screen before. It was quite a nice feeling…...and this only happened through generally pushing chakra throughout his coils. What if he tried saturating his entire body with it? It could be risky…..yet it could end up being so worth it if he was right. Combining the base elements of earth and water together within his body to form the advanced element that is known to be wood, he would swirl the chakra within his core to make sure that no base chakra remained before sending it within his coils, feeling his senses sharpening. Then, things went weird. His skin began to tinge a light green as a strange wooden texture began to appear on his skin. Ok, that he could deal with. What freaked him out though more was as he began to add more and more chakra his nails became to lengthen to become reminiscent to claws and scales to begin forming on his neck. However, the strangest part was the new draconic wings that sprouted out from beneath his coat. Recoiling and shutting off the flow he would do some basic manipulation of water chakra so that he could see his appearance, a shocked look glancing over his face as he saw his changed appearance.

Recoiling backwards, a long string of curse words that he didn't care to repeat for our younger audience be uttered out from Makussu's mouth, rolling across his now forked tongue and past his now razor sharp teeth and echoed out into the clearing in what we can call a very punny Dragonshout. Nevertheless, it was quite the situation he was in. He didn't exactly turn into a dragon every day, after all. Flapping his wings experimentally and rising a few meters in the air before awkwardly descending he would experiment on this a few more times, rising and falling from various heights so that way he could have landing mastered before he began with more complex maneuvers. After this he would land on the ground, inhaling deeply so that he could enjoy the odd freshness of the air that he had been unable to taste previously, before suddenly tensing up. His eyes would narrow as he sensed something....malevolent. Dark and sadistic, like the Tenkage from Moon Country or perhaps his old mentor of sorts Youka. The kind of presence that demanded attention or else it would slit your throat. His eyes would turn a bright green, flashing into the pattern of the Issetsugan causing yet another useful layer of radar to appear in his conscious, showing that the malevolent chakra was coming from....wait a minute hadn't his clones dispelled? Turning around he would note with repulsion that this figure almost looked exactly like him, except much darker. His normally tamed hair on this not quite look alike was a deep purple and instead of staying in it's ponytail was allowed to fall wherever it chose and his coat was merely tied around his waist instead of protecting him from harm. A shadowy aura surrounded him that reminded him of a certain sin....to the point where he got ahead of himself, drawing Yukianesa in a clean slice through the air positioning it for a quick kill. "Pride, we are done with each other. Leave me be for once in my life." At this the fake Makussu would laugh before holding out his hand, a darker version of Yukianesa flowing into it. "Hihihihi.....you actually think that I am that arrogant prick? If we have one small thing in common, it's our hate for that Gate spawned parasite. But nevertheless.....did you really think that no consequences would spawn from wielding such a great blade? The Nox Nyctores were never meant for humans....and you are one as well. Yukianesa brings out the raw and angry emotions that normally you keep deep inside your heart. I am your sadness. I am your anger. I am your wrath. I am Yukianesa." With this he would draw the darker blade before settling it as though he were about to fence rather oddly. "And frankly, I think that it's time I showed you just how weak you are." A flare of chakra from the illusion of Yukianesa and suddenly they would float down into his heart, the grand glass art of him sleeping peacefully coming into view...but Pride was missing. Now Yukianesa took it's place, an evil smirk on his face as he settled down before rushing towards him coated in chakra. Watching the blade fly towards his face he would quickly do a matrix style backwards bend, causing a look of shock to appear on Yukianesa's face at the fact that he had yet to have been skewered. A look of anger would appear on Makussu's face as he raised his fist. "Take this!" The punch while normally wouldn't be hurtfully in the slightest due to his not very impressive strength, thanks to his newly learned Soul Menace hit him like a freight train. A burst of air left Yukianesa's lungs as he went flying into the air. Backflipping away, Makussu would look up into the air confusion clear on his face at where the doppleganger went, when suddenly from above he heard a crackling sound. "Chidori!" Shit, now he was in trouble. He wasn't quite yet at the level where he could cut lightning, sadly. As the crackling electricity neared an aquamarine spiral of chakra would roar to life within his hand and with a shout he would blast up into the lightning that screamed so in Yukianesa's hand, sphere of chakra expanding all the while. "Oodama.....Rasengan!" The two met in midair seemingly clashing before all hell went loose. The world was consumed in blue light as the two crackled and clashed before suddenly the world went white, the two clashing together creating a beautiful sphere of white and blue light. However, Yukianesa had the advantage of gravity so slowly this sphere began to crackle unnervingly, promising "death" to all who touched it. However....Makussu had the advantage to one more hand. Yukianesa's eyes would widen as Makussu's eyes would turn a bright green and charge up yet another rasengan variant with four blades spinning in a spiralling motion, dissapearing in a flash of fire a ways above him in prepartion for the finisher. "This is the end! True Wind Style: Rasenshuriken!" The unprepared doppleganger would have no chance as he was ripped up and atomized, scattering him throughout the atmosphere of his heart. However....not all was over. While the body was gone, the voice still remained. "Congratulations....you aren't so bad after all. But remember, I am watching from the shadows always. When you stumble, I will catch you. And when I catch you....there will be nothing left but me." The world would fade out of the scenery that made up Makussu's heart and once again he would be in his clearing, feeling absolutely exhausted as the entire time he had still been in his Dragon Force. Stumbling up to a tree he would literally rip off a chunk off would and bite into it as though it was the best thing in the world, savoring the flavor as it went down powering him with new strength. Oddly, this one tasted like meat and pasta while the sap that ran through it had a tang of tomato sauce. Ah well, all trees were different. His hunger and chakra sated he would drop out of this new and strange form, his senses dulling to a regular humans putting him right back into perspective of a normal person....or at least as normal as a ninja can be. Which in all honesty, is not normal at all. Stretching out his limbs and giving a great sigh, he would think of how exactly he was to get all to sand out of his hair as he began his little tap tap tap walk back to him home at a casual pace that he normally took, the world changing into a beautiful landscape as he traveled the path that he took home. Violets, crimsons and yellows all danced around him merrily as the great ball of fire began to sink in the distance and on the other horizon a spherical white ball of rock that unbeknownst to him held an entire clan of a supposedly wiped out clan came into view, twinkling with a reflected light causing it to glow. The streets now lit up in a variety of dull oranges, lanterns lighting the way home. Children and their parents wandered the streets giggling merrily going from booth to booth, apparently he had been caught unawares by a festival in town. But despite all of this happiness in the world he could think about was that voice, and one final warning. "I'll be waiting for you to fall, Makussu. And when you fall, nothing shall be left of you." What if he fell? What if he was consumed by that awful thing that had burrowed itself into his heart? That voice would haunt his dreams and his rest would be fitful that night and his mind would be filled with images of death and destruction. Makussu now carried a burden once more, one he wasn't sure he was ready to hold.
