What it does: The user makes a horizontal slash with his sword, sending out a sharp chakra wave created with explosive chakra. The slash looks sharp, but is actually not, being a mere chakra wave fired at power and speed equal to the jutsu’s rank. The slash itself, upon contact with an object, releases its explosive chakra in a bakuton blast of power and speed equal to the jutsu’s rank, radius of 1.5 meters.

Backstory: Kozai was looking for ways in which to use bakuton without Kurona’s massive chain explosions (how ugly and unruly!), so he fused bakuton into his sword techniques without Kurona’s knowledge, which she looked down upon.
