Chidori gained its power by shaping it into a form sufficient for an electrical discharge and using it together with the user's own "thrust". This technique uses shape transformation to form the original
Chidori into a spear or blade-shape, adapting it for mid-range attacks with a maximum range of about five metres.[2] Its increased range means there is less of a risk to the user. It also has the advantage of being able to be used for surprise attacks and capturing. When the enemy's body is pierced, the user can alter the spear's shape into multiple additional blades, increasing the number of wounds.[3] The blade can also be swung in order to cut things as well as cause fatal injuries.
This technique allows the user to form their
chidori into a blade shape in order to pierce or slice targets. The
chidori sharp spear forms and extends at a speed of A and has A power and A sharpness. This technique can be channeled through a bladed weapon. If used this way the technique's range extends to 10 meters. Once the
chidori pierces an opponent, the user may shape the
chidori to branch off into multiple spears piercing the target. These spears only have a power of D and can extend up to 1 meter. Just like the other
chidori techniques, if it pierces an opponent they become paralyzed for 2 posts unless they have a health stat of A or higher.
