What it does: The user changes how light is reflected using chakra inflections, which turns them invisible. When using this technique the user's scent is masked and they do not give off a shadow. Only shinobi with adept sensory skills/jutsu, of A-Rank level, can detect the user. Dojutsu can also be used to detect the camouflaged shinobi. While being camouflaged, shinobi cannot perform any jutsu or they will become visible.

At a cost of 3000 more words, the user can master the camouflage technique to the point where they cannot be seen by Doujutsu or detected by any kind of chakra sensory. Together with the Advanced Chakra Sensory skill the shinobi basically undetectable, a "non-person." However, if they use any kind of jutsu they will become visible again.
