Bloodline Rules/Creation Template

Bloodlines are what a clan member is born with, such bloodlines include the Uchiha's Sharingan, and the Otsutsuki's Chakra Cloak.  The only ones capable of starting with these bloodlines are those that are born with it. Should one wish to obtain the bloodline then they must have DNA, or eyes on the case of Doujutsu, implanted into them. Rules for implants are listed below.

• All transplants must be done through medical ninjutsu.

• In order to obtain a bloodline, or an element through transplants, a large portion of the target must be transplanted into your body.  Such examples are replacing your arm with the other persons, or replacing a large section of your body.  Reference for this is Danzo Shimura, and Madara Uchiha transplanting Hashirama's cells into their body.

• All Dojutsu have a 100% success rate in awakening the bloodline. Any other bloodline transplant has a 50% success rate. Staff will perform a dice roll to determine if the transplant worked. Even number means you awakened the BL and an odd number means you did not. If it failed you may spend 3000 words trying to awaken the bl to get another dice roll. After the implant surgery has been performed, you must have 30 posts of recovery before you can use the BL. This is to allow your body to accustom itself to the new cells. If someone else is in the thread with you their posts will count towards the 30 so as to make time pass more quickly. For doujutsu, if you win the dice roll you automatically awaken the lowest state of the doujutsu.
In place of transplants you may perform a blood transfusion to obtain the desired DNA. You still have the 50/50 dice roll to see if the BL is awakened as well as the 3k wc for a second dice roll. Blood transfusions still require 30 posts of recovery. In order to perform a blood transfusion you MUST be performing the transfusion for 2 posts. The minimum amount of blood required is 2 pints.

• You can only have, at maximum, five bloodlines present in your body at a time. This however does not include Dojutsu since they replace your existing eyes. You are allowed to have 2 different doujutsu at one time as you only have 2 eye sockets. Sharingan and rinnegan count as 1 doujutsu as rinnegan is just an advanced version of sharingan. The same goes for byakugan and tenseigan. The 2 doujutsu at one time means you may have a byakugan in one eye socket and sharingan in another. You may NOT have sharingan and byakugan in the same set of eyes. The exception to this rule is if you have somehow found a way to create more eyes in separate parts of your body. If this is the case you may have as many doujutsu as you have eye sockets as long as you only have 2 specific type of doujutsu. For example, you can have eyes all over your body with sharingan and your normal eyes have byakugan but you may NOT have issetsugan anywhere in your body. An example of this would be Danzo's arm full of sharingan eyes.

NOTE: If you wish to obtain a BL through some form of transplant, your character must have a GOOD IC reason to seek out and perform the BL. Your character MUST also have IC knowledge of the BL you wish to transplant and have the knowledge that transplants would allow them access to the bloodline. Simply attacking a "random" person and taking their kidney on a whim will not be allowed unless it is a particular character trait that always happens.


If these rules are not followed, staff has every right to deny to obtaining of DNA and even the transplant method performed.


This is an example of GOOD in character reasoning to obtain DNA. It has a backstory between the two characters, absolute trust, friendship, loyalty, actual in character knowledge of the bloodline, actual reasoning for wanting or needing it. Example
