Appearance:
Black like flame that coats the blade of Akuma
 

What it does:
This zanpaktou ability is commanded through the incantation of “Let the blood that lays dormant be boiled into darkness, unbind Akuma.” This ability allows the user to coat the zanpaktou in a black like flame that act abnormal to that of a regular flame.  For example the characteristics of this flame are that it can not be consumed or absorbed as well as does not burn and has an effect of slicing through genjutsu equal to or lower than A rank. The flames also seem to bare a paralysis like effect which could take effect for two posts if the target does not have Equal to or higher than A rank.  Also said that when this ability is performed the weather changes instantly to dark red skies with thunderstorms present that follow the user.

Requires a C-Rank Upkeep for the Shikai form to remain active.

Backstory:
After various of trainings, Kohei heard the words of his second Zanpaktou Akuma the Demon.  It spoke to him of fire that can not be consumed.  Later on he would come to know the technique known as Demon Dark Shadow Flame.
