Name: Thread of Madness
Rank: S
Jutsu Type: Genjutsu
Element: N/A
Duration/Cooldown: Until Broken/5 Posts once broken
Range: 15 Meters
Appearance: A small, blue glowing needle attached to an extending, blue thread.
What it does: Once the needle is tossed in the air, it flickers to life and begins to seek out the user's intended targets, piercing them one by one painlessly and harmlessly, threading them all together unless resisted. If dodged, it would circle back around and attack again and again. It is unable to make sharp turns, and can bounce off of surfaces. If resisted, it bounces off of the target and tries again. If resisted again, it seeks out another target. If targets are successfully threaded, the needle flies back and pierces the user, locking them all in. This thread, unable to be touched, will allow the user to pull everyone into a shared genjutsu, allowing them to experience and see the same illusions. Unfortunately, this effects the user as well, and if combined with Shou Kurama's Realistic Illusions, can potentially harm the user as well if not used carefully. The duration can last as long as it remains unbroken. If the thread is broken in the middle of the targets by the middle target, the target, including the ones who were threaded after that target, are free of the genjutsu. Example: 1-2-3-4-5 are the threaded victims. Victim 3 breaks away from the thread, severing it from his/her body, which also frees victims 4 and 5, but 1 and 2 are still effected, leaving the example to this: 1-2 3 4 5. The needle is easier to resist penetration than it is to resist the thread, which already takes effect.
