Ice Queen vs The Forest Sage A Battle For Power

Kirito had arrived at the designated site of the battle quickly. This, Kirito knew, would be a tough one. The Ice Queen was who he would be facing. Because of Kirito's respect for her power, Kirito had decided to go full out from the start. Kirito had arrived on the field merely 8 meters in front of Esdeath. Kirito's Rinnegan eyes were activated. Kirito's body was covered in a golden cloak of chakra, the gold cloak Kirito had obtained after fully syncing with Isobu. Kirito had already had Isobu begin to gather nature energy for him, in case he needed to access sage mode quickly.

Kirito had already used one of his secret techniques to create 4 invisible and undetectable clones of himself using the Limbo: Border Jail technique. Kirito himself was wearing his Blackwyrm Coat which rendered Kirito and Isobu nearly completely undetectable. The black sword Elucidator was in Kirito's right hand. The blueish colored sword Dark Repulser was in it's sheathe on Kirito's back. The hilt of Dark Repulser was near Kirito's left shoulder. Kirito had come equipped with 41 raijin kunai each marked with Kirito's FTG seal and 5 explosive tags. All of the explosive tags and raijin kunai were placed in easy to reach places on Kirito's person beneath the Blackwyrm Coat.

Kirito would not say anything to Esdeath when he arrived. Instead, Kirito would begin his attack immediately. This may be considered rude, but to Kirito it was a testament to the Ice Queen's power. Kirito had promised to go all out from the beginning and so he would. Immediately after arriving, a rasenshuriken would form in Kirito's left hand, placed at his side in such a way that the rasenshuriken would be formed safely and unable to come in contact with Kirito himself or anything he had brought with him. All of Kirito's stats had been raised to the maximum of X rank from the boosts he received from his golden bijuu cloak as well as his rinnegan eyes.

While the rasenshuriken was still forming, Kirito would dash at Esdeath at X rank speed, easily taking in every detail of his surroundings as well as the flow of Esdeath's chakra with his doujutsu. The instant Kirito began to charge at Esdeath, Kirito would also perform the Wood Release: Nativity of a World of Trees technique and form 15 1 meter thick roots from the ground surrounding Esdeath at S rank speed which each had a sharp pointed tip with S rank sharpness. The roots would form from the ground in such a way that there would be a single 3 meter wide opening in front of Esdeath. The single opening left in front of Esdeath was where Kirito was running for. The roots formed would each move at S rank speed attempting to pierce Esdeath in 15 different vital spots including Esdeath's head, heart and lungs.

Kirito was using the surface walking skill in conjunction with creating lightning along the path in front of him via the powers of the Goro Goro no Mi fruit to ensure Kirito did not slip on the icy ground. Kirito would close the 8 meter distance between Kirito and Esdeath near instantly. When Kirito was merely 3 meters away from Esdeath, Kirito would raise his left arm with the rasenshuriken aimed directly at Esdeath. The rasenshuriken was placed in such a way that it would still not touch Kirito at all. As soon as Kirito's left arm was fully raised and the rasenshuriken was aimed at Esdeath, Kirito's chakra cloaked left arm would extend at X rank speed directly at Esdeath. As Kirito charged at Esdeath, the four invisible and undetectable clones created by Limbo: Border Jail would also charge at Esdeath from 4 different directions staying within 20 meters of Kirito but staying out of the way of the rasenshuriken and Wood Release: Nativity of a World of Trees

Esdeath whistling would continue to echo through the area,as it was a sweet melody that she simply enjoyed when she was bored out of her mind. Her senses will flare up as the person who chose to meet her here finally arrived. Her eyes will look up at the yellow chakra coated person that stood in front of her in this field of ice. She would tilt her head to the side a tad as she just blinked as being a slayer her senses were heighten higher than normal people that walked in this world. She would uncross her legs as she would still be in her relaxed state. Her eyes remaining tilted to the side as the big over glowing person was ruining her beautiful sight she was so enjoying right now. Her hand will raise from the stump of ice as she could tell this man was seriously about to go try hard on her,which was a tad annoying to tell the truth.

She would sigh as she wouldnt move from her seat as she really had no plan to move,she just simply watched. She was really bored of this already as she just looked at how well the man was equipped with everything he could possibly muster. Where she only had a sheathed sword on her side. She just had to look at everything the man would have on his person,he was like a one man army up in this place. She couldn’t help but feel honored at the fact such a shinobi stood in front of her at this time It made chills go down her spine so seductively,she just loved it all so much the pure feeling of bliss when you fight someone strong or that seem they are strong at the very least.

Misaki’s eyebrow would raise at the sudden release of huge chakra,it seem concealing his chakra was a bit pointless. As she looked at the chakra forming into the hand of Kirito as she would sigh,of course the guy wanted to use something big like that she could feel the pure intensity of the jutsu being formed in the man’s hand. Her eyes focused on the forming chakra as she really had no words to say,she just smiled and shook her head at this display. She just couldn’t help but sigh deeply this guy power was impressive but he was just so reckless with it she couldn’t bring herself to think of this seriously at the time. She crossed her leg once more as she would allow this yellow coated man to do whatever he wanted to do before he actually faced her,lets hope this wouldn’t be annoying.

She paid attention as Kirito begun to charge her as she still didn’t do a thing to move,maybe she was outmatched afterall. It was still not making her think of this as a challenge,thoughts flooding her mind as she sat there on how she could get out of this exactly. She ended up just simply shrugging it off. The ground would suddenly begin to rumble a tad as the ice would begin to crack immensely allowing the waters below to flood the field. The cracks grew bit by bit as the roots broke through the ice landscape,the sudden force against the ice forcing the ground to begin to separate at the uneasy breaking of it. As the roots shot forth she would turn her head as she would be impaled directly by the fast emerging roots. As the man continued to run towards her maybe she truly was out match.

She was able to move her body to the side so it didn’t impale her to die as she had the speed to,her eyes would look forward unable to move. Her eyes showed anger as this man was so reckless using all this stuff so soon. Her eyebrow twitched as she watched as the Rasenshuriken would be thrown towards her”Your...so annoying….”she would murmur under her breath as the shuriken would cut her in two. But it was a good try on her part or maybe his as her body turned to pure water but not after the last smirk spread on her fast. With that the mist on the terrain floor suddenly rose creating the terrain completely in mist. This was the mist from earlier which she used at a lesser level,but now it was fully activated covering the area in a blinding mist for people with eyes like Kirito. This mist couldn’t be merely blown away since of it being made of broken down ice in it’s molecule form. The Rasenshuriken that was thrown earlier would collide with the ice making the whole area begin to break down from the forced impact. Water splashing upwards around Kirito instantly and flooding the battlefield as he stood there.The mist spread within a thirty meter radius not even letting the clones know what was going on.

The statues at the edge of the area would begin to move being blocked by the Ice and chakra suppression activated. From one of the statues rose Esdeath as she would sigh. He was way to reckless,the clones water which would be forced upwards would form into twenty five needles of one inch and one meter in length of ice needles being really difficult to see due to their size being blocked by the mist as they shot forward at the short distance of simple three meters going at S rank speed and hard to notice due to the Ice Mist. Misaki would step forward as she would touch some ice near her. Early she put the ice completely under her control,with a slight use of low amount of chakra spikes would shoot upwards towards Kirito also being blocked by the mist due the it being near invisible in this. She will complete a seal as the water begun to form pushing through the rest of the ice making the whole area rumble as it begin to shatter the rest of the terrain until the place was shattered completely.

The wave rushed forward as to drown Kirito under it’s might as it rose up to thirty meters tall,but this wouldn’t exactly be seen till it would be within five meters of Kirito due to the mist. After releasing the wave she would slip into the water unnoticed,being hidden by the Ice mist she had created as she made a final seal,she was going to end this quickly as possible. Nothing was left from the destruction of the terrain nothing but ice cold water with a few floting blocks of ice...

Kirito watched as the Ice Queen didn't even bother to try and move out of the way of his attack. The roots Kirito had summoned impaled Misaki with ease, missing her vitals due to her shifting her body an instant before they hit her. As Kirito launched his chakra arm forward with the Rasenshuriken he could hear Misaki mumbler something about him being annoying. Kirito watched as his rasenshuriken severed the Ice Queen in half, turning it into water? Of course it was a clone. Kirito should have expected as much. Kirito smirked as the clone turned into water and the mist that covered the area became so thick he could no longer see. Kirito would have been disappointed if the battle had ended already. That first attack wasn't even enough for a warm up. The mist that now covered the area was obviously made up of pure chakra, making Kirito's doujutsu sensing abilities worthless.

Kirito stood up straight in the same instant the mist began to thicken. Kirito could hear a whizzing in the air before twenty five ice needles came in to view and pierced right through him at several locations. Immediately following the needles, Kirito felt the icy ground around him rumble as he was seemingly impaled by some icy spikes. Kirito would look around at the holes in his body from the ice needles and the ice spikes that looked to be impaling him. He couldn't help but think that this counterattack was lazily performed. Kirito had never shown this ability to anyone before so he wasn't surprised the Ice Queen tried something like this. At a closer look, everywhere the ice had struck Kirito were mere holes sparking lightning from the edges. All of the ice needles and the spikes summoned had just phased through Kirito's body causing no harm to him whatsoever. The Goro Goro no mi Devil Fruit he had eaten had made him completely immune to all physical attacks. This fact was the only reason Kirito hadn't dodged the attacks.

As Kirito stood there with the ice spikes through his body he deactivated his golden cloak, it seemed this fight would take more than that simple attack he had performed earlier and Kirito wanted to conserve some chakra. At the same time Kirito deactivated his cloak, he heard rushing water coming towards him. Kirito could only assume it was another attempt at an attack by the Ice Queen. Kirito couldn't tell how much water was coming his way or which direction it was coming from. He ran through his options quickly in his mind before deciding on a plan. Being able to think quickly was something he was very good at. Because of this Kirito had run through at least 20 different scenarios in his head in roughly 2 seconds before deciding what to do.

The icy ground beneath Kirito would suddenly begin to raise straight up in the air at S rank speed. Having already started the Wood Release: Nativity of a World of Trees technique, Kirito simply created a large 8 meter wide tree underneath him that carried the ice upwards with him standing atop it. As Kirito rushed upwards, he could see a large wave of water crashing into the tree below him. Kirito had just narrowly avoided the attack. Once the tree settled thirty five meters high, he walked forward 3 steps, phasing through the ice spikes so that the spikes of ice were no longer in his body. The eight meter wide block of ice had managed to bring Kirito's Limbo clones with him. Each clone was looking over the edge of the tree in a different direction. The Ice Queen's chakra was everywhere due to the mist making it impossible to pinpoint her location. Kirito would crack his neck and let out a deep breathe. The battle was only just beginning. Kirito hoped the Ice Queen had more tricks up her sleeve than those small little distractions. It wouldn't be any fun if this continued.

Kirito smirked as he felt a calm settle over him, the kind he got when he was fighting a strong opponent. It had been some time since he got to stretch his legs and flex his power. Kirito and his 4 undetectable invisible clones would wait atop the block of ice settled in the tree Kirito had created thirty five meters in the air. If Misaki wanted to fight she would have to find a way to reach him.

Misaki remained submerged underwater as her attacks were taking place at this point,her eyes looking towards the surface of the water she was in. Her eyes wasn’t even blinking as she floated below the surface. Her mind racing on what to do but knowing her she always had ways to finish off opponents that think all that power actually meant something. Unlike her who was thrown into the lions den at a young age was forced to learn what it meant to survive it was a sad story but one not meant for the time at the moment. She closed her eyes as she will make a seal as the water on each side of her would form into a clone being only able to make two but that was all she needed. Both clones would go to different directions of the now Ocean awaiting the order.

Her body swimmed downwards as she could help but notice something was invading her territory. The difference between these two combatants one fought using her mind and the other only relied on power to get what he wanted. For one this was her domain and this whole ocean was her weapon. The wave created from earlier was acting weird as it kept going rushing and crashing into the tree constantly. It was one strong hit after another of this terrifying wave of destruction that was suppose to be the grave of this man. she dived downwards as she found the root that react and was submerged in water such a bad case. Placing her hand on it it would quickly begin to freeze over as it rushed from the top since it had emerged from these grounds the tree was wet the perfect condition for Misaki.

As this happened the wave had moved to rise fifty meters high creating a wall of water that surrounded Kirito. As this happened the tree would be completely froze over trapping all that was standing on it. This freezing action would quite go unnoticeable unless they were actually was playing attention to the tree itself which wasn’t the case. As the wave rose to fifty meters it begun to close in creating a orb of water entrapping th man within. With a signal to her clones to start as the both dash out of the water towards the orb as it was quickly completing ,as Misaki would make normal seals and take in a deep breath then exhale as the waters would begin to rise due to Misaki expelling extra water from within her body. The waters grew taller twenty meters taller to be exact,but the special about this the wave from before that was now a orb of water around Kirito which was completely filled with it had increased the normal water levels to a good fifty meters.

But now with the added support the normal water levels had grew to a good seventy meters overlapping the tree that worked so hard to grow so tall. She would now drown him under the waters might as the waves of water would be way taller than he would be stationed as they came crashing downwards. This was a sharks den...and the sharks have just been released. The water was now seventy meters high and crashing down as the orb of water had trapped all in its embrace while on top of the orb was the clones reinforcing the orbs with their bodies water,these attacks had happened within a five second delay from one another. there was no solid ground any more it was all covered in pure water.....that Misaki controlled...the mist remained strong making even more difficult to see what was coming from below.

Kirito was glad he had his Limbo clones watching the area. Due to the shared field of vision Kirito could see the water level rising and Kirito had reached the limit of manipulating the tree. Kirito was getting nervous as the entire field became an ocean below. Water was one of Kirito's weaknesses. If Kirito got submerged it was all over. Deciding to play it safe, Kirito turned into lightning and flew straight up into the sky at SS rank speed. Kirito kept glancing below to make sure the water was not catching him. Once the water had reached it's height of 70 meters Kirito would stop rising, being 10 meters above the sphere of water the Ice Queen had created.

Kirito was convinced that if this battle didn't end soon he would meet his end. Kirito, hovering 10 meters above the water sphere as lightning, decided to use the Goro Goro no mi. Water was after all a natural conductor for lightning. Kirito activated his golden cloak once more to enhance the attack that was about to be set loose. Kirito could feel Kirito's chakra reserves depleting from all of the techniques and skills that Kirito had used. One of the three command seals on the back of Kirito's hand faded as Kirito's chakra reserves were completely refilled.

Once Kirito had released the command seal to refill Kirito's chakra, Kirito let loose a powerful lightning attack at the sphere of water below him. The lightning would move to hit the sphere of water head on with X rank speed and power. Since water was a natural conductor for lightning, the entire sphere of water would be enveloped in the lightning attack that Kirito had launched.

This is what killed you...you gotta remember the orb was only 50m up and since you are 10m above it the wave of 70m wave would connect sending you down under..it was your simple wording that killed you because i said the water levels rose but the orb range and length stayed the same which is why it wasn't mentioned increasing.

Misaki was amused as she watched what her clones was paying attention to as the man escaped the orb of water. She would sigh deeply rising from the water as she would click her tongue through her clones seemed they were amused as well who wouldn’t as to what was about to happen to the man who thought he escaped her grasp. As he was merely ten meters above the orb which didn’t exactly say he was safe at all. The seventy meter wave would come down crashing into Kirito making all his powers useless at this point as the weight of the wave would send him to the depths of the ocean where his body would be buried under the weight of the water,as his body flew to the depths twin sharks or Misaki’s pets would come tearing the body apart with their teeth. As it truly was a Shark Den….and now they have been fed,,,,

Kirito had made a fatal mistake. Now he was helplessly submerged in water and had lost. As he was dying, he could only think that the better fighter had won. Kirito did not deserve the title of "Sannin" and now it belonged to someone that did. Kirito had died. Misaki was the new Sannin.
