Appearance: The body of Toshio Nara is conspicuously average looking, for a ninja at least. His hair is short and white, the one physical trait in common with his former self. He stands a good 5'6, and while he is skinny, he has some muscle definition, making lean a better word to describe him perhaps. As robes are not as plentiful in this plane as in the others, he is normally found in a dark jacket and pants, with boots, looking like a typical moody teenager, his black eyes surveying the scene in a typical unhappy fashion.

Personality:  Urza, aka Toshio Nara, has an extensive thirst for knowledge, one that he struggles to overcome even now in light of his last major mistakes. In general he tries to do what he believes to be the right thing, however, this desire is often in conflict with his desire for greater knowledge. While he is not necessarily very outspoken, he is by no means the calm type of person, and can easily fly into a rage. While he normally likes to take things at a very fast pace, if someone else needs help, he will try to slow down and help them how he can, sometimes to his own detriment, whether he realizes it or not. While fundamentally a good person, he will make sacrifices others will not entertain, for the greater good, if he feels the situation calls for it, though there is a bit of a conflict of interest if there is something significant he could learn otherwise.

History:  Urza was a man of many tales, his lifespan long, far longer than most would ever dream of living. In his childhood, he and his brother were sent off to live with a friend of their father’s after their biological mother died, and their step mother took a disliking to them. With the help of their new caretaker, the brothers learned a lot about artifacts, and making things. When the two brothers found a twin pair of powerful artifacts, their greed led to the death of their caretaker, and afterwards, both began to accumulate power throughout the lands. This culminated in a great battle, which was ended when Urza activated an immensely powerful weapon that destroyed the opposing armies, semi-permanently altered the weather patterns, destroyed the landscape, and made Urza ascend into a planeswalker. After learning about Phyrexia, the source of his brother’s corruption, Urza set out to destroy them too. Too make a long story short, Urza was eventually forced to enter Phyrexia himself with some allies in giant suits, to plant bombs to blow up all the Phyrexians, going to a disproportionate amount of work if you consider that he ultimately did not want to destroy it, wondering how the plane of the Phyrexians came about initially. Finally being used to destroy the leader of the Phyrexians in an explosion of sorts, his remains were obliterated, but his soul and spark survived, being blasted away, and clinging to life by taking over the body of a young boy in a dimension far, far away.

As it turned out, Urza was pushed into the body of a newborn, named Toshio Nara, in a world of ninjas with different abilities entirely from what Urza had encountered before. Initially, the boy, Toshio Nara, with Urza’s soul stuck inside, was like any other newborn, but as he got older, he began to remember who his previous incarnation was, and realized his powers were gone, or at least dormant. He began to really become his old self again, albeit in a younger body, during the onset of his teenage years. If this had occurred at a younger age, others might have noticed, as it was, his thirst for knowledge, reclusiveness, and temper when interrupted where all taken as a sign of his “going through stages”, he just seemed to be a normal teenager in one of his stages of finding himself, which he certainly was. It boggled the reborn Urza just how much sheer knowledge he had had before, and he decided to set out and try to regain as much as he could, in this new world and body. He resolved that, to regain all of his lost powers, he would need to become strong in this new world, and in his new body, trying to avoid the mistakes he had made before.

Likes: Likes learning new things, for the most part. Good food too, and anything that keeps him away from spiders.
Dislikes: Many things, not least of which including  powerlessness, lack of information, and spiders. Really does not like spiders. Not a crippling dislike so much as a want to destroy any spiders near him, so them icky things cannot touch him. Cats, he does not like either. He often carries something handy to throw at them. However, his opinion of the ninja cats is slowly improving, due to their differing nature from the normal ones he is used to.
