Squad Rules
Squad being a group of lower rank ninja is to help the economy of your hidden village. Here is where squad rules are listed.
° To be leader of a Squad you must be a Jounin/A rank or higher. The village Kage may allow a Chuunin/C rank to be a leader as well only if they find the Chuunin's skill to be adequate enough to do so.
° When a Squad completes a mission together, each Squad member will get the full amount of Ryo from the mission as well as an added bonus for completing the mission as a team. The added the bonus for completing a mission as a team is 1,000ryo for each Squad member. The captain or leader of the squad will receive a bonus of 2,000ryo in place of the 1,000ryo bonus team members get for their role.
° In the case of a team member being absent for long periods of time without notice(1 week or more), a substitution can be made until the team member returns from their absence. If the absent member does not return after 2 weeks with no notice the substitute can be made permanent upon the village Kage's approval. Keep in mind to make a substitution, the member has to be away for a week with no notice. For the substitute to be make permanent, the original member must be away for 2 weeks without notice.
° You have to be between Genin and Special-Jounin to be on a Squad and you must be a Jounin or Master in order to be a squad captain, or a Chuunin with special permission from the village Kage. A Squad is composed of 3 members and the team leader. The Squad can be composed of any amount of Genin and Chuunin as long as they remain in the 3 team count.
° Squads are made by the Jounin or Master rank and then approved by the current village Kage. This means that Special-Jounin and below can NOT make the squad, only those qualified to be squad captain can choose the squad and it must be approved by the village Kage.
ANBU Squads
° Every village has an additional 3 ANBU Squads, hand picked by the village Kage and/or the ANBU Squad captain. The 3 different ANBU Squads are: ANBU Intelligence and Interrogation unit, ANBU Assassination unit and the ANBU Kage Guard unit. The 3 ANBU squads have a slightly different set of rules than the normal Squad Rules.
° Each ANBU Squad will still consist of 3 members and a Captain or Leader.
° The members are hand picked for their specific skill set by the village Kage, taking recommendations from the current ANBU Captains.
° The village Kage will decide which ANBU Unit you will be put into if you have been chosen to become an ANBU member.
° You may be chosen to become an ANBU member any time after you have attained Genin rank. If you are chosen to be ANBU, you will receive an immediate promotion to at least Specia-Jounin but may be higher at the Kage's discretion. In certain cases a Genin may be chosen to become ANBU if the Kage sees you to be a qualified candidate or someone of potential. If made ANBU as a Genin, you will only receive a rank up to Chuunin.
° An ANBU captain can be any rank. This gives the potential for a Chuunin to be in charge of a Squad of Special-Jounin or higher ninja. The captain is decided by the village Kage and may be changed out if they feel it to be necessary.
° It is possible to be removed from ANBU and return to the normal ninja at the Kage's discretion. If you return to being a normal ninja after being ANBU, you will immediately be promoted Jounin rank unless removed for dishonorable reasons.
° In order to become ANBU, you must first have at least 40 posts of character development with the Kage and/or an ANBU captain. The 40 posts can be a combination of the both and does not have to be accomplished in one thread.
° You must be at least a Genin or higher to even be considered for an ANBU member.
These rules are subject to change. There will be a separate registered team thread where the Kage from each village must post their villages teams and ANBU squads. This is to both notify the team members and so staff can keep track of the current team members.
