Traveling to the Fire Country

Today would be the day that Meliodas had gotten promise from the Raikage to go to the fire country to meet the Hokage. It would be a chill winter morning with the sun just rising over the horizon as the man would be getting out of bed, his hair a ruffled mess and his eyes of almost a drunken state as he would scratch his back and let out a slight yawn. As he would look around the room his what was a back scratch would turn into that of a head variety, this only making his hair look even more messed up than it did to begin with. However, he would simply get out of bed not truly caring what time it was for he had quite the journey in front of him.

‘Yo son you ready for this I might just be talking to you the whole time during this little adventure of ours.’

Though it could be rather easy if he had known some instant travel jutsu but he couldn’t really do much at his current rank. His chakra control and skill was not quite yet at the level that he would need to control something that well. However, even with all this in mind he would now begin to get ready and it was as though his journey would turn into that of an illusion his vision seemingly fading back into a dreamlike state though he would be much conscious.

The man would swiftly almost in like a cartoon like fashion throw on his usual outfit of having on a white collared shirt with a black seemingly leather vest over top with a loose hanging tie, white pants, and black boots. Though some people questioned his dress he felt it was most comfortable and help him not worry about much getting caught in battle. Therefore, after putting on his attire for the journey it was as if he would kick into over drive and begin to run through the village with an excited smile on his face racing through all the morning traffic of the villagers. His body movements seemingly rather fluid motions that would seemingly just flow with the theme of his life, the man could be seen slipping and sliding dodging morning fruit sales men as they would restock their carts. To avoiding the many teams of men carrying boxes into their shops by using some of the more creative methods, like sliding under the box and swiftly making it before the next man’s footsteps would collide with his skull, or rather fancy jumping off the wall and doing a front flip over the box as he could be seen smiling and seemingly saying good morning if someone would happen to catch his face in the act. ‘This is going to be an interesting day.’

With that comment and a smile on his face Meliodas would be sprinting out of the village’s gates and would swiftly be winding down the mountains so that he could get to the forest that awaited bellow and make his passing to the next village more swift and entertaining or at least for him it would be as if a monkey swinging through the trees the man would be moving at break neck speed kicking from tree to tree while occasionally having to catch a limb with his arm and use the already apparent momentum to make sure he would swing and land onto his next target to keep his journey going rather smoothly. The man would have a wonderful smile skating across his face as he would laugh and simply enjoy himself even if it was merely traveling the man had no problem turning it into something enjoyable to him especially when he felt it was something that he truly wished to do and had no sense of responsibility behind it but rather just another learning experience for the man. Therefore, in seemingly no time the boy would arrive at the borders of the fire country borders and would simply wipe the sweat off his face though he would be greatly tired from the long journey he was finally here and would be ready to meet the Hokage and perhaps even learn a few things while the man was here to further help him achieve his goal of becoming a worthwhile ninja.
