What it does:This is a physical aspect of shadow control, the user being able to manipulate shadow within the jutsu's radius. The shadow may not be formed from nothing, but must either be created from the user's body as seen in the picture above, or controlled from existing shadow within the radius.
The shadow materializes and moves at jutsu speed, and acts at jutsu power; health and sharpness of solidified shadow is also equal to jutsu power. The user can solidify the shadow at will, making it solid rather than fluid, and making relevant parts sharp. This solidification occurs at 200 speed.
The user cannot control shadow that is naturally inside someone. However, already-controlled shadow that he somehow gets into the victim's body are perfectly controllable.
However, the greatest ability of the shadow is that whatever it touches, it is able to blot out the target's "name", that is, its purpose and function.
The shadow blots out the victim, jutsu, or object, not only on the physical level, but also on the fundamental level, erasing its purpose and meaning. Upon contact, a living being suffers a debuff halving every start, rounded up.
Upon use on an item, weapon, puppet or such, the object loses its abilities for the duration of the debuff. Puppet mechanisms must be disabled individually.
If applied to a jutsu, the jutsu fades away and vanishes if it is under the Nameless Dark's power stat. Even solid jutsu such as earth jutsu merely disintegrate. If a jutsu has higher power, the shadow leaves it alone ( that is, no debuff applied. Contact between target jutsu and shadow may still occur). The user may choose to not erase the name of a target. Debuff lasts for 3 posts. Has a cool down of 2 posts. Only one instance of the debuff may be active at a time.

Backstory: This is the ultimate creation of Kozai's shadow techniques, and the pinnacle of his power. Upon creation of this jutsu, he caused Kurona to be horrified, and she stayed away from him for quite a while afterward. Even after he was able to coax her back, she still holds a great hatred for the jutsu, calling it a "contamination of ancient draconic power". Of course, Kozai was too tactless to listen.
