What it does: By obtaining direct eye contact, the user performs Tsukuyomi with their left eye. The Tsukuyomi technique can cause any number of effects to the victim ranging from memory alteration to inducing comas and even death. It is possible to kill someone with Tsukuyomi if the target is under the genjutsu for 5+ posts. Tsukuyomi, due to the power behind it, requires at minimum a three tomoe Sharingan or willpower stat of S rank or higher to break the Genjutsu.

To balance Tsukuyomi, you cannot begin doing extreme things like inducing comas until the target has been in the Genjutsu for at least 3 posts. This is to give ample time for them to break the Genjutsu. If they haven't escaped the technique by this time then they can have more extreme effects done to them not including death. Death may be caused by this technique after the target has been under the genjutsu for 5+ posts.

All effects done by Tsukuyomi, except comas or death, will last until end of topic if the target hasn't left the genjutsu. In the case a target has been put into a coma by Tsukuyomi, the effect will last indefinitely until the genjutsu is released or they are healed with A rank or higher medical ninjutsu. If death occurs it is final.
