The Truce

Itami had heard of the news of what the head of the Senju clan had done. He took authority over the village and started calling him self Hokage. Itami was not mad but surprised at what happened. He had decided it was time to make the truce between the Uchiha and Senju clan. Not for power that the truce would hold but that it would stop wars. Before he started walking towards the sanctuary of the man. Itami had cut out his left kidney and was ready to do something he would not regret. Arriving at the office he would knock on the door waiting for the voice of a man to say come in.

Kirito was sitting at his desk doing paperwork that had piled up in his shot absence. 'You know all this paperwork is not one of the more enjoyable parts of my job. At least I have you to keep me company.' he would say to Isobu in his mind as he continued to scribble his signature and notes on whatever papers needed them on the pile before him. His chakra senses were active and he kept his own power suppressed as he always did while in the village so as not to frighten anyone. 'I would not expect it to be very enjoyable but it does need to be done if you wish to keep the village in order. Don't be so anxious for excitement. Having boring paperwork to do means that your village is safe.' Isobu was right. It may be a boring part of his job but at least he knew there was no imminent threat. That was when Kirito sensed a presence approaching followed by a knock on his door. 'Who could that be?' Kirito wondered to himself as he pushed aside his paperwork and sat up straight, preparing for the visitor.

"Enter." he would say, announcing to the unknown visitor that he was ready to see them. When the visitor entered the room he would see a desk 4 meters from the door with several piles of semi messy paperwork and one and a half piles of neatly stacked papers that have already been finished. Kirito would be sitting straight up behind the desk with his hands clasped together on his lap wearing a light-brown, short-sleeved, kimono shirt with mesh armour underneath, held closed by a red sash, and navy blue pants. A red and white with a red kanji, the symbol for fire, on the front center sat upon his head. 'It seems we have a visitor Isobu. I wonder whom I have to address today.' he said in his mind to Isobu while letting a smile adorn his face.

Walking in in Itami sat in the chair in front of the man's desk and observed him." Kirito Senju I have heard a lot of you. You look as to be the age of 18 just like me " said Itami to Kirito. It wasn't a mistake he knew his name. When someone becomes a leader of a village there name starts to spread. The man that was his age did not look like much but he knew to think other wise." I am Itami Uchiha I am the clan head of Uchiha and I will like to form a treaty with the Senju something my father would not have done if he was still alive. Years ago the Yu and Uchiha clan had a war with my father and my best friends dying I was chosen as my father's successor. Forming a truce with the Senju I can stop pitiful wars in our lands. ". Itami stopped talking waiting for the man to respond if he would respond Itami would say " I will reveal my clan's secrets to you if you want. ". Itami took his silvery pen out of his pocket and put his right hand on the arm of the chair. He clicked the pen and a trident sprung from it. Itami while sitting down said " this from me is a sign of loyalty from Uchiha to Senju accept this kidney from me that will allow you to unlock my clan Doujutsu after it is transplanted in your own body after the use of medical jutsu " said Itami as he flashed all three of his tomoe in order ending with Mangekyo Sharingan that had a swirl pattern exactly the same as Kamui. After Mangekyo Sharingan Itami would turn off Sharingan sitting his own kidney that was wrapped in bandages to Kirito

The visitor proved to be a boy of around Kirito's age. He entered the room closing the door behind him and sat down in the chair in front of his desk without permission. That was not how one addresses someone of Kirito's stature but before he could say so the boy said his name was Itami Uchiha and he was the Uchiha clan head. That took Kirito a bit by surprise as the last thing he had expected was for the head of his rival clan to simply waltz into his office and sit down in front of him. The boy, who apparently was more of a man than a boy, claimed he was here to propose a peace treaty. At the mention of a treaty, Kirito would not yet respond but wait for Itami to speak again. 'What do you think Isbou? Is this some sort of trick?' he would ask the three tails in his mind while listening to Itami speak of giving up clan secrets to Kirito and then pull out a small pen which he then clicked and it turned into a trident in his hand.

'I am not sure what to think of this just yet but I do not fear him. It is obvious to me that you could crush him easily if he made a move. Hear him out and see what he has to offer.' was Isobu's response. Just as Isobu finished speaking to Kirito, Itami would set what he claimed was his own kidney on Kirito's desk and said that it was a show of loyalty to the Senju as once Kirito implanted the kidney into himself he could awaken the Uchiha clan's famed Sharingan eyes which Itami then flashed at him in the form of the 3 tomoe followed by another form he had never seen nor heard of before as if to emphasize his words. If this truely was an offer of peace and not some form of deception it could mean much, including the end of at least some of the pointless wars that plagued the land. "If what you say is true and you have not deceived me in any way then I do not require your loyalty to the Senju clan. Instead I would have you swear an oath of fealty to the Land of Fire. To protect and serve in any way, shape or form that you are needed. Never to betray the country or its people by aiding in its enemies, its destruction, any attacks that may occur and defending the country and its people to the best of your ability. However, this kidney will be a much appreciated and accepted peace offering. If you swear this oath of fealty I would have you tell me more of your clan's secrets." Kirito would not yet mention that he had sworn his own loyalty to Arcanis and became his apprentice. He would wait to reveal this to Itami after he had agreed to the terms and had sworn the oath of fealty that Kirito had requested of him.

'Do you think he will accept and swear fealty to the Land of Fire? We need strong allies and Arcanis I'm sure would be pleased to have Itami with us.' he said to Isobu in his mind. He was glad to have him there to help him decide what to do and lend his strength. 'If he means what he said then he would have no reason to deny your requests. Though if he swears his fealty and that kidney he has brought you will in fact grant you Sharingan eyes on top of him offering to tell you clan secrets, I think you may consider giving him something of equal worth. Maybe some of your own dna to allow him to potentially unlock the wood element. It is a fair thing and much less than he is giving you.' So Isobu would have him give Itami something to unlock his clan's wood element. Kirito was reluctant to do so but it was a fair exchange for his own Sharingan and access to the secrets behind the famed Doujutsu. This whole conversation happened in Kirito's head as he waited for Itami's answer to his own proposals.

" Lord Hokage I already seared my oath to the land of fire when I was born but I will do it again if you want. I Itami Uchiha swate To protect and serve in any way, shape or form that you are needed. Never to betray the country or its people by aiding in its enemies, its destruction, any attacks that may occur and defending the country and its people to the best of my ability. " said Itami. " Now I will tell you the origins of our clans and the secrets of my power " said Itami.


" I will start from the beginning. " said Itami as he prepared to tell the story of Hagaromo Otsutsuku. "Thousands of years ago there was a princess who led a clan named the Otsutsuki clan by the name of Kaguya Otsutsuki. One day she ate a fruit from a tree that was not to be touched. When she ate the fruit she ended all wars on earth during her time and became known as the rabbit goddess. Years later she bore a pair of twins that resembled her. Hagaromo was the eldest twin who had horns patruding from his head like his mother. Hamura the exact same but younger. Each twin got a bloodline from there mother Hagaromo the Rinnegan a doujutsu that no one knows the powers of until they get the Rinnegan they self and read the Uchiha stone tablet in full. The youngest twin got the Byakugan that I like to call the all seeing eye. Kaguya was angry that her sons inherited her powers so she took on a transformation that came to be named the Juubi or the Ten Tails. Hagaromo and Hamura trained hard and defeated there mother. Hagaromo with the power of the rinnegan split his mother into 9 seperate life forms known as the nine tail beasts. The 10 tails vessel or empty carcass was transported to the moon as Hamura took the rest of the Otsutsuki clan to the moon to guard the carcass. Years later Hagaromo had a set of twins named Indra and Asura. Asura gained the sages life form and chakra while Indra gained the sages eyes that were on a lower level. Which was called the Sharingan. Asura and Indra were at there father's death bed when he asked them what they would do with they life. Hagaromo liked Asuras answer better so he gave him his will. Indra did not like this and forever hated Asura for what he gained from their father. That was what started the hatred between Senju and Uchiha. Indra and his decendents were known as the Uchiha and Asura and his defendants were known as the Senju. The senju also had distant cousins known as Uzumaki. " Pain let out a breath he was holding." That is the story of my clan and now I will tell you of my clan's doujutsu the Sharingan " . The Sharingan is separated between stages. You have to get the first stage to unlock the next. But the Sharingan sometimes break people from the ways you unlock it. To unlock the first tomoe you have to feel sad so sad your eyes give you power. For the second tomoe you have to feel the lead to no longer continue in battle. For the third stage you have to depend on the eyes in battle. For the last stage Mangekyo Sharingan your closest friend have to die. Three of my closest friends died in a war that was not meant to be. My Father and my friends from birth. With Sharingan I can copy jutsu, fore see attacks, see chakra, and more things I'll get into later. " said Itami said.

It seemed that Itami was telling the truth and had not deceived Kirito. He had done as Kirito had asked and swore his oath of fealty and following that, had given information on his clan and it's Sharingan. 'Itami has done as I asked. He does not seem to have deceived me and with his gift has proven his trust. Should I perhaps give him my kidney in exchange for his? With my medical prowess I can perform the surgeries right here.' he said to Isobu, more asking for his advice than anything else. It was no simple thing to decide to share his clan's bloodline with another, something he took into consideration as Itami had done the same for him. 'I believe you should. It would show you to be a benevolent leader and one who shows his appreciation to his loyal subjects for lack of a better word, by rewarding them with adequate station and power.' Isobu said to him. Kirito contemplated what he would do next for a few moments, leaving a silence hang between the two.

He looked at Itami for a moment, hesitating before he acted. Then he spoke to the man sitting in front of him. "You have proven yourself to me both with your words and your actions. Know that I do not take what you have done lightly. I know what it means to share both clan secrets and the power of your clan with another. In response to your pledge and your gift to me, I have decided to grant you my own gift. In exchange for this kidney you have brought me I will give you my own. This will allow you the potential to unlock my clan's wood release. Wood release allows you to not only manipulate trees and wood, but all forms of plant life and vegetation. If nurtured correctly, it can become very strong. If you are accepting, I have enough medical prowess to perform the necessary surgeries right here." He paused for a second and then added "I would also have you as my second in command. You would be part of my personal guard and work closely with me as well as be the commander of an organization I have created called the Anbu Black Ops, or Anbu for short. If you accept my offers I will go into more detail about them." Kirito was sure that Itami would accept his offers but he needed to see what the man would say. 'I think you have made a good decision in this. I am proud of you. You are no longer the boy I used to despise.' Isobu said to Kirito. His words made Kirito smile which would not be understood by Itami for what it really was. 'Thank you Isobu.' he said in response as he waited for Itami's response.

Itami nodded to Kirito and said " I acept your gift. You can either tell me of ANBU Black Ops first or do the surgery either way is fine with me ". Itami awaited for the man to answer. While waiting Itami thought of some thing he had been promoted to ANBU whatever that was leader of it. Guard of Kirito. Maybe him and Kirito could form a bond along the way as ninja. Images of his father flew through his eyes. Would his father accept what he just did. Itami shook his head his father was no longer with him he could not think of it like that. The treaty between Senju and Uchiha will continue.

So Kirito was right. Itami had chosen to accept his offer. The surgeries would certainly be a process so he decided he would tell Itami what the Anbu was and what his new roll as its commander entailed. "Very well I will start by telling you about the Anbu. When I have finished I will perform the surgeries. The Anbu black ops is a new organization I have constructed to perform high level missions or other tasks that vary from intelligence gathering to assassinations. You are the first member of this organization and will be in charge of dividing up the tasks and choosing which members will go to which division as well as training them for their new roles. Do not worry, I will help with these tasks as well. However you will lead my elite guard and as such will be given certain permissions that the other members of the Anbu will not. These include things such as acting of your own will and upon your own discretion as well as being allowed to leave the Land of Fire at any time to conduct your own business. There will be four different divisions of Anbu. These are the Intelligence Corps, the Interrogation Corps, the Assassination Corps and my own personal guard. Each division will have its own captain that leads its squad and can request or suggest certain individuals they deem worthy to join Anbu." It was a lot to cover but he knew it must be done. Kirito would finish telling Itami about his Anbu and listen to any questions he may have, answering them appropriately. When Itami was ready he would let him know of the procedures he was about to perform on the both of them. He waited for Itami's response.

After Korito's response Itami nodded and said " I understand it must have took you some time to come up with that. You are a perfect person to lead this village. If it was me I would have made a police unit instead of your ANBU. But now I am ready for the surgery I rather get it over with since I have a friend waiting for me in a distance. Sorry if I seem to be rushing you Lord Hokage. If you would allow it I will clear off your desk now " said Itami as he cleared off the desk gently sitting things on the ground. Itami pulled a sheet he kept in his trench coat and layer it on the desk with it coming off the edges. Itami layed on the desk his hands to his side.

Itami seemed to not have been prepared for this surgery as he mentioned something about keeping someone waiting. Kirito didn't mind. Itami cleared off Kirito's desk, carefully placing the items on the floor and then spread a sheet out on top of the desk and layed down after removing his clothes so that his upper body was not covered. "I'm going to generate a small amount of lightning element chakra to numb you from the pain. You will still feel some pain but not as much. Please bear with me." Kirito said and he placed his hands on Itami's body and sent a pulse of lightning element chakra through him to numb him. When he was numb, Kirito used his chakra scalpel technique to make an incision big enough to operate. Kirito then removed some of his own clothes so as to bare his upper body and made the same incision on himself. With skilled hands, he removed his own kidney and placed it inside of Itami, attaching the necessary organs in order for it to function properly. This part of the surgery took about an hour. When he was finished he healed Itami's incision with his mystical palm technique and instructed him to lay still while he finished working on his own body. Now that Itami was finished, Kirito was able to focus on himself. He gathered up the kidney that Itami had brought with him and performed the same procedure on himself that he had just used for Itami and followed up by healing his own incision with his mystical palm technique. Kirito was in much more pain than Itami as he had not been able to numb anesthetize his own body because he would not be able to perform the surgeries if he had.

After a few short hours the surgeries had been finished. Kirito was sweating from the pain and exhaustion but he was feeling much better now. "There. It's done. Be careful and do not do anything too stressful on your body for the next couple of days. If you are in fact supposed to meet someone then I am sorry for taking so long. It is a difficult procedure to perform and make sure everything functions properly. You are free to take your leave if you must. I have to report to Arcanis about our new truce."

Kirito knew his sensei Arcanis but how. Itami picked up a vase that had dirt and flowers in it and sat it upon the table looking at it. Itami raised his right hand and stuck it into the vase saying." I can feel something new every since you transplanted your kidney into me like I have a connection to the earth and plant life. Is this what it feels like to be apart of the Senju bloodline. Also you said the name Arcanis are you talking about a man with a eye patch that looks like the grim reaper " said Itami." If so how did you come to know him " asked Itami.

Itami stopped in his tracks at Kirito's mention of Arcanis. Apparently he knew him as well. Itamit picked up a flower vase and put on Kirito's desk and for some reason stuck his hand in the dirt. Then he asked Kirito how he knew Arcanis and spouted some nonsense about feeling connected to the earth, asking if that was how it felt to be a Senju. 'So he knows my sensei. Did I make the wrong decision with this one Isobu?' he asked the Sanbi. 'It doesn't matter at this point. He has sworn fealty. See what he knows.' the giant turtle said to Kirito. Now he just needed to see what Itami really knows. "Arcanis is my teacher. I have sworn my loyalty to him upon hearing his views and seeing his power. How is it you know of Arcanis?" Kirito said to his new second in command. He was very curious to see how he would respond. Unfortunately his vow of fealty to Arcanis would dictate he kill Itami right here if he was not an ally to Arcanis. He hoped that was not the case as he would prefer not to lose this new ally or start another war with the Uchiha for killing their clan head. Kirito gathered his chakra as he waited for Itami's response in preparation of ending him in an instant if he needed to.

Arcanis the name felt powerful." I met Arcanis in the forest one day and he told me his plan of a world of hope. I asked to join this plan and I became his student " said Itami. It looked like Arcanis was on a recruitment through this side of the country." It looks like Arcanis is recruiting " said Itami while laughing.

So Itami was not an enemy. He had agreed to help Arcanis as well. With this new information Kirito let his chakra fade away, glad that he did not have to kill his new ally. 'It seems Arcanis has been busy in our domain. The more strong allies we have the better.' he said in his mind to Isobu. This was generally how it always was. No matter what Kirito was doing he was always having a secondary conversation with Isobu inside of his mind, sometimes even fighting the Sanbi. Strangely enough the giant three tailed turtle had become one of his closest friends. 'So it would seem. Let us hope he does not make too many enemies while he is here as we will be left to handle the aftermath.' Isobu's response came as more of a warning. He still hadn't completely agreed with Kirito's decision to follow Arcanis. Kirito believed it was because Kurama, the 9 tailed demon fox, resided inside of Arcanis but he knew Isobu would never admit it.

"So it would seem. I hope he doesn't make too many enemies in my domain as I will be the one to have to deal with the aftermath." Kirito said to Itami with a smirk adorning his face. "I am glad that you aren't an enemy of Arcanis. If you were my oath would have dictated me to kill you where you stand without hesitation." he added so as to show Itami the intensity of his loyalty to the man.

Itami laughed and said "_ well let's take this talk out side ". Itami walked out of the office not looking back knowing Kirito would follow him out side standing by a tree Itami would say. "I think I can make this tree larger ". Itami trusted his hand to the ground but nothing happened. Itami laughed and shakes the feel away." So tell me about your life " said Itami

Wondering why the hell he left his office at all Kirito followed Itami outside and toward a tree. Again Itami was spouting nonsense, this time about thinking he make the tree larger just because he had Kirito's kidney now. It would take time before he could manifest the Senju bloodline if he even managed it at all. Kirito had felt a strange power building since he had finished the transplant. Maybe it wasn't so strange for Itami to think he could suddenly manipulate trees. Itami interrupted his thought process by suddenly asking about Kirito's life. What a strange and vague question. He was not completely comfortable telling Itami about his personal life just yet. "Listen Itami, just because you are now my second in command and you have my kidney doesn't mean we are best friends. I would prefer to keep my personal life to myself for the time being." he would say not unkindly. He had no problem with getting to know the guy, actually he thought it necessary, but now was not the time for that. In fact they should actually still be inside the building recovering from their surgeries.

"I guess you are right. Well I rememb my father telling me I had a brother once but we were separated I went to a distant village but came back years ago. It would be good if I can some how find him one day. We were twins " said Itami out of the blue." Since you do not want to reveal your personal life maybe I can show you a very powerful jutsu known as Susano'o it is the ultimate defense or rather that is what I call it so do you want to see it " asked Itami

This guy went from one thing to another with no hesitation. First he wants to know about Kirito's personal life and then he suddenly offers to show him some powerful technique called susano'o. His flippant attitude was making Kirito question his decision to make Itami the head of his Anbu. 'This guy really goes from one thing to another very quickly. Kirito are you sure about him?' So Isobu had the same doubts he did. 'No, not as sure as I was when I made the decision. But I made it and so I will give him the benefit of the doubt for now. If he proves not to be worthy of the position then I will make other arrangements.' Well he decided he might as well see this technique he wanted to show me. The ultimate defense. Sounds intriguing. "Sure. Go ahead and show me."

Itami nodded and jumped back several feet away from the Hokage." The Susano'o is divided into forma this is the first form " said Itami as he summoned the skeleton around his body that was 164 ft in the air." This is only the first form of Susano'o this is the second form * said Itami as  the Susano'o apprwad more humanoid as skin began to grow over the bones." This is the third form " said Itami as he went into the last form of Susano'o Susano'o was now 100 meters into the air towering of the village." This is why I call this the ultimate defense. In this mode I can summon weapons of my choice " said Itami as he summoned a bow and arrow and shot a arrow into the sky. Susano'o began to disaoeer getting smaller finally Itami fell out of Susano'o head landing on his feet with a thump." Is that good " asked Itami
