What it does: There are three types of Haki that make up the whole skill. It mainly pertains the use of Spiritual energy alone, rather than the combination of both Spiritual and Physical (Chakra). There are three "Colors" (Shoku) to Haki. They are the following:
The color of Observation, known as
Kenbunshoku Haki. With this the user is granted premonition, and can forsee things using their Spiritual energy. Beings that carry Spiritual energy can also be detected using this type of Haki. It adds to the reaction time of the shinobi and also grants them the ability to move quickly to react, which is basically an increase in speed. Boosts depend on the rank the shinobi has unlocked.
D-Rank: Able to detect any Spiritual Energy in a 10m radius. D-Rank Jutsu cost
C-Rank: Able to detect any Spiritual Energy in a 30m radius. C-Rank Jutsu cost
B-Rank: Able to detect any Spiritual Energy in a 50m radius. B-Rank Jutsu cost.
A-Rank: +1 to Reaction Time and Locomotive Speed/Able to defect Spiritual Energy in a 60m radius. A-Rank Jutsu cost/C-Rank to maintain. Allows user to detect an attack they normally could not that would harm them within the same post.
S-Rank: +2 to Reaction Time and Locomotive Speed/ Able to detect Spiritual Energy in a 1Km radius. S-Rank Jutsu cost/B-Rank to maintain. Allows user to detect an attack they normally could not that would harm them within the same post.
SS-Rank: +3 to Reaction Time and Locomotive Speed/ Able to detect Spirtual Energy in a 2Km radius. SS-Rank Jutsu Cost/A-Rank to maintain. Allows user to detect an attack they normally could not that would harm them within the same post.

The color of Armaments, known as
Busoshoku Haki. With this the user uses their Spiritual energy to act as a protective shielding around their body that is invisible. For some, their body is covered in a black metallic substance produced by their Spiritual energy.
Users gain an armor that has the same Health rank as their Willpower stat. (Ie. If you have A-Rank Willpower, you gain an A-Rank Health armor coating around your body) This allows them to hit anyone who is intangible or anyone who is partially between dimensions(eg anyone with part of them in this, part of them in another or anyone who can affect this dimension from within theirs).

The color of the Conquering King, known as
Haoshoku Haki. With this the user is able to restrict movement using their Spiritual power.
B-Rank: Targets within a 30m radius of the user will experience a much heavier pressure. Their Locomotive Speed won't be affected but they will feel heavier pressure on their bodies and some inbalance. It knocks out anyone who's willpower is four ranks below the user's.
A-Rank: Target's within an 50m radius of the user will suffer -1 Locomotive Speed, Reaction Speed and Thought Speed loss if their Willpower is lower than the user's. It knocks out anyone who's willpower is three ranks below the user's.
S-Rank: Target's within a 70m radius of the user will suffer a -2 Locomotive Speed, Reaction Speed and Thought Speed loss if their Willpower is lower than the user's. It knocks out anyone who's willpower is two ranks below the user's.
SS-Rank: Target's within a 100m radius of the user will suffer a -3 Locomotive Speed, Reaction Speed and Thought Speed loss if their Willpower is lower than the user's. It knocks out anyone who's willpower is one rank below the user's.
The effects of this Haki last for two posts.

]Note: All three abilities can be used at the same time. Once the user enters the cool-down stage, after using the ability, none can be used until that cool-down period is used. Each technique adds to the number of times used. (Ie. I use Kenbushoku three posts in a row and then use Haobushoku after, before entering the cool-down stage. I have to wait 8 posts in order to use it again.)]
