Kiru Retsuno

Kiru sighed as he had patrolled through a small town on the outskirts of Suna. He had promised to help protect some of the villagers for some food and a place in the inn, but so far, this task was remarkably boring. He had heard that bandit attacks had been quite common as of late, but in the stretching darkness he didn't even see a single light in the distance. It would be a lot better if someone would at least, trail behind him a couple feet and seem like they cared about his loneliness. In the end though, it was best that they stayed away from him. Night was the worst time for him, though the moon had a calming effect on him like nothing else. Right now, he couldn't exactly afford to just stare up at it, but at least it was in his sight line, clear as..well day. He moped around a bit more, hoping for something slightly more interesting to report to the shinobi back in town, but the likelihood of that was seeming to get slimmer and slimmer as he went on. Until of course, his foot struck something under him. It was a wrapped piece of parchment, dropped by someone or something. Unfolding it gently, it read like a child's writing project, but its meaning was clear. The bandits were indeed hiding out in the sand, using a dune to the south east as cover while they prepared a large assault. However, Kiru doubted this was enough to fully prove it. Anyone could have written this, or, more likely, anyone's child could have. He'd have to find something by the boss. Someone with actual planning skills who would hold more info.

Finding the dune was easy, even if the location was only crudely described. The dune was pretty tall, and hid even the camp fire the bandits held below. Kiru wouldn't even have thought to look here, as the dune blended so well into the background of the land. Sliding down the dune gently and silently, he rolled behind one of the tents. It seemed as though most of the bandits were resting or eating, trying to be ready for tomorrows invasion. Kiru just had to find the leaders tent, get some more notes, and he'd be able to make sure the guards were ready when the attack came. He shuffled quietly through the camp, having spotted the biggest, and therefore most important tent. Slipping around behind it, he put his ear to the fabric and listened inside for any signs of life. It seemed as though whoever was in there, was either not in there or was asleep. Not having a knife, he concentrated a low amount of chakra into his finger. It slowly and sort of painfully turned into a small, sharp claw. Kiru used this to cut a hole in the tent quickly and quietly. His powers were a burden more often then not, but occasionally, they were handy. He had been correct, that the leader was not on his tent. Gathering up all sorts of documents, Kiru silently left the way he came. Stealthily leaving the camp, and bringing the info to the waiting guards.
