Clash of Titans! Kirito vs Konoha ANBU Captains!

It had been quite some time since Kirito had had an intense fight. Kirito thought that if he did not fight some strong opponents to push himself he would get rusty and be unable to truly defend Konoha and it's people. On top of this, he hadn't truly tested his ANBU Captains' strength yet nor their teamwork. It was because of this that he now stood atop a 30 meter tall building exactly in the center of the roof. The building stood exactly in the center of Konoha and was 30 meters tall, 20 meters wide and 45 meters in length. The roof was completely flat with no blemishes, bumps, cracks or other protrusions of any kind. Kirito stood wearing his Blackwyrm Coat with Elucidator and Dark Repulse strapped to his back. His arms were folded in front of him, a fox-like smile was on his face. The sun was high in the sky, one or two clouds floated lazily above. There was a slight breeze, just strong enough to give a cool reprieve from the warm Land of Fire weather.

Kirito had given Taika, Dusk and Kozan each directions to meet him here on this roof today. He had not told them the reason for the meeting, only that they were to arrive armed for a fight. Today Kirito had decided that he would not only test his ANBU Captains, but also test himself by fighting the three of them. It would be Kirito versus Taika, his student and captain of the Konoha ANBU Kage guard, Dusk, the man who could change his appearance at will and captain of the Konoha ANBU Assassin squad and Kozan, Kirito's vassal and captain of Konoha's ANBU Intelligence and Interrogation squad. Kirito was patiently awaiting the arrival of his three captains as he enjoyed the weather, mentally preparing himself for what was sure to be an intense fight.

Within the forests of Kumo sat the Captain of the Anbu Assassination Squad, clad in what appeared to be a Yukata of sorts though his form was that of a lithe woman with raven bk didn't care too much about this form, yet to be an assassin one must be able to hide their true identity from all even those he worked with. Why he was in the forests was an interesting question, yet so simple at the same time that an infant could figure it out. The forest was so quiet that one could pay attention to all of their surroundings and in that he could hear the happenings of the village.

It was at this point that someone, one of his own operatives bought him a message requesting that he meet with Kirito atop the spire. He didn't know why and yet did it really matter? Standing up he would push the raven locks behind his ear and place his mask onto his face," Very well you are dismissed," with that the young male (female in this case) would disappear from the forest and make his way to the spire in silence. Two swords strapped to his right side, a cube sitting in a pouch and a mask were his weapons...Though given his record he was carrying more than an armory plus ten thousand.

His arrival would have been met in silence and awe, his form appearing behind Kirito as he rested a lengthy right arm around Kirito's neck and smiled," And what does a kunoichi like me owe the honor of being called up here for? You trying to take me out for dinner Kirito-Kun," of course he was joking and simply moved away from Kirito after a full on laugh, the secret of his identity being solely with Kirito alone. Looking towards the other male he would smile though the smile wouldn't be transmitted due to you know...mask hiding it. For the moment however he simply remained on guard and waited for Kirito to explain what exactly he was here for.

Kozan's base of operations was no forest, no underground basement. No, rather, it was a small apartment that he had comissioned. It seemed simple enough, and no one suspected that he was using the area, in combination with Nushinogami, to spy on the whole village. He had committed to memory the habits, statistics, and trivia of more than 76% of the Konoha population, and the number was growing every day. Soon, he would have to start spying on the ninja as well, which he anticipated greatly. To have information on all his allies and potential obstacles to Kirito's path would be most useful indeed.
In the poorer areas, a superstition had already arisen about an old hokage's ghost who spied on the unsuspecting populace and whispered dark secrets to Kirito. This, of course, was Kozan's Nushinogami clone. With it, he could find out anything he wanted to about any civilian target.
He checked his mail slot outside, and found a note from Kirito. A meeting? Well then, it wasn't as if he could ignore such an imperative. Sighing, he checked his weaponry, putting the katana in its place on his right hip, and sheathing the Shining Trapezohedron over his left shoulder, in case he needed to use both at once.
As it happened, he got there last. Alighting on the roof next to the kneeling man, he would also kneel in a similar fashion. However, as he did so, he would note the other people there, and their armaments. His sensory would also be active at this point.... hmmm. Well, as it seemed, the three that Kirito had assembled were all masked. Were they all ANBU, like him? If that was the case, he had to assume that they all had similar strengths. He would wait in his place, ready to be recognized last.
Being last gave him such an advantage...

Kirito would wait until all three of his ANBU captains had arrived before explaining the reason for summoning them. The first to arrive was his student, Taika, who had knelt before him upon arrival. The second to arrive was the newest ANBU captain, Dusk, although he was in the female form he was apparently using as a disguise. The last, but certainly not least, to arrive was Kirito's vassal, Kozan Asura. Once Kozan arrived, Kozan had knelt down in a similar fashion to Taika. Of course Dusk was the only one not to kneel, an aspect which Kirito still found amusing. Each of the ANBU Captains had only arrived within mere seconds of each other, something Kirito was glad for, as now he would not have to wait to begin this fight. Kirito had a grin on his face as he began to speak. His excitement for this battle was coursing through his entire body.

'Isobu, gather nature energy for me. I'm going to go all out in this fight.' Kirito had said to the giant three tailed beast within his mind. 'Yes Kirito-sama. Try not to destroy the village.' was the response Kirito had received from Isobu. He smiled even larger at that. Kirito would look at each of his three ANBU simultaneously as this short exchange had taken place in his mind before speaking. "I realized this morning that I hadn't tested the three of you, my ANBU Captains, in some time. I also have not even had the chance for you three to meet. Take this as a chance to learn each other's strengths and weaknesses and develop teamwork skills as you will need them in the future. You three are to work as a team today. Your goal is simple. Defeat me." Kirito said to Taika, Dusk and Kozan while still smiling. Kirito would blink, revealing his mangekyo eyes in place of his normal ones.

The instant Kirito had activated his magekyo eyes, there would simultaneously be 18 one meter thick branches erupting from the roof of the building at S rank speed with pointed tips. Six branches were aimed at each of the three before him with 2 branches each erupting from behind, in front of and to the left and right of Taika, Dusk and Kozan, for a total of 6 branches surrounding each of them. The branches moved at S rank speed, immediately aiming for Taika, Dusk and Kozan's heads, hearts, arms and legs, attempting to pierce each of those body parts. Taika, Dusk and Kozan were each exactly 11 meters in front of Kirito and exactly 3 meters were in between the three of them. They were each side by side with Taika in the middle.

"Come at me with intent to kill!" Kirito said as he simultaneously launched the first attack.

As dusk stood there he would listen to Kirito while looking at the other two, one of which he would identify as Gyuki's host and the other was of no real importance at the moment. Once Kirito had gotten to the point of why these three were here with him, it became all to clear and he merely smiled as he rested his right hand on his sword," Defeat you? Simple...," there was no other way to take that than as a challenge as he watched the roots appear from the ground, a simple senju technique that he watched as it gained ground. Of course he could have taken this simple attack head on as means of showing yet another power of his, but this wasn't the time to play around.

"Reduce all creation to ash," the words were murmured low as he drew his second blade, from the simple words an immense torrent of fire engulfed not only Dusk but the whole area in which the four were standing. The fire would burn through the roots as Dusk stepped from the flames, his sword alit as he smiled and moved forward, his body moving at S rank speed to close the gap between him and Kirito. With a swipe of his arm the blade made three arcs of fire each ten meters long and aiming to incinerate the Hokage should he make the wrong move, the blades themselves moving at S rank speeds with the same in power," Let's see if you deserve the mantle of Hokage," a smirk played on his face as he continued his onslaught unaware of what the others were planning. With the strange mist obscurring the vision of everyone in it, this was now a battle of stealth, between him and Kirito as the two couldn't be sensed. The feeling of having a blind battle made the blood of Dusk boil extremely almost overflowing him. As he closed in for his attack, a single half tiger would have been held as his iron sand dug into ground, preparing for an even greater attack.

If there was one thing that Kozan was now sure about, it was their certain doom. One of these others seemed to be particularly strong, but the other was merely arrogant. He had bathed the whole area in fire without any kind of coordination or warning. Thus, this meant that he had no consideration for his allies, but meant to... attack alone? With this kind of disunity, their loss was certain. Kirito would scatter them like dust before the wind. Kozan remembered how difficult it had been to fight even a clone of Kirito, so he knew that the man must be significantly stronger without using clones.
However, he could cut his losses. At the very least, he could analyse these people and their techniques. As the branches came toward him, they would be incinerated by the blue fires from the other captain's idiotic attack. This was fine. You see, as Kirito had been speaking before, Kozan had activated his doujutsu, and stood up, maintaining this standing position even before the branches had started moving. His doujutsu shunted the heat away from him, leaving him completely immune to its power. He was a little more worried about the third man, the one who had produced the mist. Now, Kirito appeared to be non-senseable, and the mist limited his view.
Regardless, he managed to get a good look at the shadow clone technique that the third captain had used, and the blue fire that the jerk captain had produced. Interesting attacks both of them. The fire in particular appeared to be a sword ability. Well, obviously, more research was warranted. Most interestingly, however, was the fact that Kirito had displayed a doujutsu. What were its capabilities? Like any normal doujutsu, he expected that it enhanced his visual abilities, but what else could it do?
Anyway, as he had been in a neutral standing position even before the branches leaped from the ground, his Mountain Path's stealth ability had already activated as the branches headed toward him. After the fire swept through, Kozan would use his Fire Path ability to teleport about 40 meters behind him, onto the rooftop of a separate building. From here, he could watch the fight, completely invisible and non-senseable by any of the three. Of course, he could leap back in at any time, but the mist, fire, and Kirito's mere presence made it too dangerous to be close to that area.
He wondered what would happen next. Sure, the second captain seemed to be pretty strong, but he surely couldn't take on Kirito alone. This meant that he would have to teleport back in to assisst the third captain, the one with the clones and mist. Something was bothering him about that doujutsu, however... it didn't seem right. He would continue to scan, making sure Kirito didn't teleport toward him. It wasn't like Kirito could sense him anyway...

Several things happened at once. Taika had created some sort of black mist, Dusk had immersed the entire rooftop in flames and Kozan's chakra had spiked for an instant before completely disappearing. Now, Kirito could only sense.....twenty six Taikas. The instant Kirito's ANBU Captains had begun their response, Kirito would simultaneously turn into lightning and rise 20 meters into the air at SS rank speed. Hovering in the air as lightning, Kirito's eyes would spin, revealing their Rinnegan form. Kirito would let his two arms take their normal form while keeping the rest of his body as lightning so that he stayed in the air.

In each of Kirito's hands Kirito would form a Rasenshuriken. Kirito threw one rasenshuriken at S rank speed at the last spot Kirito had sensed Dusk and threw the other at the spot Kirito could sense Taika. At the same time Kirito had thrown the Rasenshurikens, he would simultaneously send an immense amount of lightning into the black mist that Taika had created. The lightning would cover every inch of the rooftop within a 25 meter area with the center of the attack being directly below Kirito. The lightning had a speed and power of SS rank.

Lightning...So he used lightning to escape the burning flames of his zanpakuto, which in a brighter scale was a smart idea, but the one thing that Kirito had forgotten was that this battlefield was still his. The fire that surrounded the area would continue to blaze as he watched Kirito's form rise to the air, during the time he had made it 15 meters into the air, his body had converted into the one element that held this place in captivity. The flaming body of Dusk had immersed itself into its surroundings before Kirito had threw the rasenshurikens leaving only the form of Taika on the ground to dodge. Of course with this being said he would smile knowing that the next move would be amazing.

Appearing at the top of one of the plumes of fire, he stood with his possessions in full. The perks of being fully hidden made this next move all to fun as he smiled. It was a simple movement...as swift as the wind itself as he waved his hand as if beckoning someone and yet it wasn't so. The wind around Kirito spanning up to 20 meters would begin to dance furiously trying to cut and stab at its opposite element," Lets see what you do...Return to normal or keep up this charade...," of course this wasn't his only course of action. Within the confines of their fighting arena, Dusk had been laying a trap this whole time only waiting for one to spring it...but who would this one be?

As he saw the mist dissipate (quite the wise move from that Captain... he didn't know his name! Well then, he would call him Ink-Boy, or some such thing), he saw the flames still there. Well, flames there for that long would cause some kind of consequence, that was for sure. He could certainly see the wisdom in sweeping the area in fire. Especially since it appeared that Fire-Boy (Kozan wasn't particularly good with nicknames) could use those flames in more ways than one. Kozan, being immune to the fire, didn't have an idea of precisely how strong it was, but he could make a good estimate.
Now, his master. It appeared that not only had he turned his body into (at least partially) lightning, he was capable of even making powerful attacks while in this form. Interesting... both Fire-Boy and Kirito were both extremely elementally aligned. Observations acquired, he thought, further investigation warranted. What was the most important thing, however, was the fact that it appeared that Kirito required that his arms remain solid for those attacks. He frowned as he saw this. That meant that it was possible for Kozan to attack him, but only at the right moments. At this point, it appeared that all of the combatants save for himself were using high-radius, high-damage attacks. Getting close to that, he thought, would go badly for him, especially if Kirito brought out the wood again.
At the point that Fire-boyo ascended into the air, Kozan could at the very least recognize that Ink-boy was in trouble. However, considering that both he and the other captain had been able to evade attacks so far, Kozan had no fear. If one of them really was in trouble, however, Kozan would have to intervene, and hope his doujutsu abilities would be able to cope.
This whole time, however, Kozan would keep in his stealth, unseen and undetected. The fire at the point that Fire-boy had reached his height had burned long enough to cause the roof to collapse, revealing to discerning eyes whatever was underneath. Keep attacking him, Kozan thought. Wear him down, expose him, so I can wipe him out. Also, cool wind attack.

As the Rasenshuriken that Kirito had thrown approached the roof below, the inky mist disappeared, revealing only Taika standing on the roof. Upon seeing only Taika standing on the rooftop, Kirito would immediately perform two hand seals and two separate beams of lightning would fly from Kirito's lightning body at SS rank speed in two separate directions before Kirito's arms reformed into lightning. That was all Kirito could do before he was suddenly hit with numerous blades of wind. After the first two blades of wind hit Kirito, an invisible sphere of gravity would expel outwards from Kirito expanding to 3 meters away from Kirito in every direction. This sphere of gravity would stop or repel everything that came into contact with the sphere with less than or equal to S rank strength or power. Since the shinra tensei expanded outward from Kirito, it would shield him from all of the wind blades created to attack him as well as the pillars of light that had been created by Taika.

Once the sphere of gravity had fully formed, Kirito had turned back to his normal form and began falling toward the rooftop below. The sphere of gravity remained surrounding Kirito as Kirito fell. When Kirito had fallen 15 meters the shinra tensei would end and Kirito would instantly disappear in a yellow flash, reappearing in an alley between two buildings exactly 40 meters away from where Kirito had just been. It just so happened that, unknown to Kirito, Kozan was hidden on the roof of the building to Kirito's left. Kirito had taken minimal damage from the wind blades but his body still ached. Kirito couldn't help thinking to himself that he had to be more careful. He wasn't immune to everything, he still had his weknesses after all.

By the time Kirito had appeared in the alley, the lightning that had separated from Kirito's body earlier would have reached their destinations. One would crash down on a different rooftop 35 meters behind Dusk, exactly 60 meters away from where Kirito had teleported to. The other would strike down on a rooftop 45 meters in the opposite direction of Dusk from the first. This was exactly 80 meters from the first strike of lightning and 75 meters from where Kirito had teleported to.

If everything had gone according to plan, one Kirito would be in an alley next to the building Kozan was hiding on top of, one Kirito would be standing on a rooftop 35 meters behind Dusk, and one Kirito would be standing on a rooftop 45 meters in front of Dusk. Each Kirito would have their rinnegan active, but which one is the real one? Dusk, Kozan and Taika(if Taika makes it off the roof) will have to find out for them selves.

This whole time Dusk had been calculating for when his trap was to be put into motion, of course with the building being "destroyed" it only sped things up for his own sake. Since Kirito didn't take the time to look inside of the building he had fallen into for a bit before disappearing, he wouldn't have noticed the black substance coating its walls, the base and all had been converted into this seemingly dense, yet inconspicuous material which was perfect for him. As the Kirito clones had been in their areas, the black substance would have spewed into the air, the building it had once coated falling into bits and pieces just to follow suit with his prior. A smile appeared on his face as the Jinchuriki of the eight tails appeared in front of him," Fox, and its a pleasure...Though finding Kirito won't be much of an issue for us now," the whole building had been converted into this mineral giving him a near infinite amount, or enough to cover a 50 meter radius (teehee).

As the mineral flowed through the underlying areas below them it would fill the corners of the alleyways, streets and small walkways that were in its path and if someone was in the way of this? Well Dusk was sure their Hokage could easily take care of that. With this being in place the moment the black substance had covered the ground area for 50 meters, behind the clone that spawned near Dusk, it would be surrounded by the sand," Alright Kirito you have about ten seconds to come out or i'll be setting this village ablaze...That or i'll be killing anyone within these 50 meters with whats underneath us. Of course you being a Kage and all would have some sort of....soft spot for his villagers right? If not, then I think you should be...disposed of," of course if Operative Wolf was smart he would take this opportunity to find the real Kirito...though Dusk was actually serious about this threat, he would be giving his own test. In his right hand sat a simple cube which upon further inspection had a bit of the black substance leaking from it, though what this part was for was yet to be decided.

[No Jutsu used...Yet]

Abilities recognized, more intelligence required... Kozan thought, as he observed what was going on. Also, it seemed that one of the captains had been filling the building with some kind of substance this entire time. As it spread toward him, Kozan decided to back off a bit, teleporting another 15 meters away, landing close to the edge of the building he was one, and putting him at a distance of 55 meters from Dusk, a mere 5 meters from the edge of the black substance, which he could now see was... metal? Interesting. In this case, he would be a few meters from one of the Kiritos, the one standing 35 meters behind Dusk as of last he saw, when Dusk was facing away from Kozan.
Very well, he thought. Now is the time to attempt an attack...
Just before the black substance obscured all vision (before Dusk began to give his ultimatum), Kozan would fire an Amanomurakumo off at maximum range in the direction of the two clones that he could see, the ones 35 and 45 meters away from Dusk (thus, 20 and 95 meters away from himself). The tunnel of spacetime would open in each of the clones' chests, and in anything between Kozan and the 100 meter range of the jutsu.
I am the Owl... he thought silently. I require no flashy moves, no recognition... only my watchful eyes and silent motions.

[alright guys just go with it and exit. Jaye wants to go to Kiri, Taika wants to look for his mom and I gotta exit so i can take my month long absence without worrying.]

A lot happened at once, including Kirito's clones being destroyed and Dusk summoning a large amount of iron sand. This battle was too much for the village. It was a mistake on Kirito's part to start such a fight where innocent villagers could end up involved. Without hesitating, the real Kirito would instantly disappear in a flash of yellow light and appear in front of Dusk and Taika on a part of the roof that hadn't been destroyed. Upon appearing before Dusk and Taika, Kirito would hold up his hands in the sign of surrender. Hopefully his ANBU Captains would recognize the sign and stop their assaults. However, just in case they didn't recognize the sign or couldn't see it, Kirito would also yell out as loud as he could calling the battle off. "Enough! I see you are all strong. I should not have challenged the three of you inside the village where innocent civilians could be caught up. The fight is over. We will continue this another time somewhere away from the village."

By this time the three captains should have stopped their assault and began listening to what Kirito had to say. "Alright. The three of you should introduce yourselves to each other if you haven't already. I just remembered I have an important matter to discuss with a ninja named Zento. I have to go." and with that Kirito would disappear in a yellow flash, reappearing in another location entirely.

A smile.

There was only a smile on the face of Dusk as he held up his hand and the black substance returned to the cube in which was floating in the palm of his right hand, the sand converging in on their location before disappearing into the red glow of the cubes center before completely disappearing from the area," Seems like i chose the right person to show my fangs to...Well why don't you get going and i'll head out on my little mission," of course the name Zento had begun a small query in his mind, but he would allow it to slip for the moment as he looked towards the two men still around him. Shaking his head he would allow his own sand to wrap around him as he spoke," Fox and it's been a pleasure wolf let us do this again," the sand itself returning back to the cube as its form and its user had leaped off the edge of the building and disappeared into a crowd of civilians.
