Hey watch where you're going! (p)

Blue Sky above. The Azure blanket went on from horizon to Horizon. The weather in the land of fire was so utterly systematic and beautiful that it was almost disgusting at times. Blue skys, forever, and ever and ever and ever. And a cool gently breeze so constant that you were always hot and cold at the same time. Palace didn't have anything against the weather per say, but it still seemed like a drag that they never got any snow. She'd kill for a good exciting Hurricane around this place.

No missions, to team training, no hurricanes, not attacks, no fun. She supposed she could go training as see where that got her in life, but she'd never been terribly good at that to start with. She was a pretty terrible Uchiha. She had no ambition what so ever. That was really going to become bothersome at some point. What if she had grandchildren and they asked her what she did with her life? What would she say? Well I pretty much just went about my life, not doing anything in particular. I just looked out for other peole, and helped out hwen I was needed. She thtat wouldn't be a waste of life, but it was pretty lame. Especially for an Ichiha. Did you know that they could shoot fire out of their eyes? She wanted to be like that. She didn't want to just help the village out, she wanted the village to depend on her!

But that meant training, and that was sooo boring!

She'd been wandering around the village for about half and hour and had no idea where she was going so far. However it seemed no matter where she went she had some serious training to do. It's just... that seemed so incredibly boring! The street she was traveling down was kind of a back street. Not very crowded and mostly forgotten from how it looked. There were a few trashcans filled to the brimm that lined the two stone walls on either side of the narrow road.

Hark! Someone approaches!

Man Gawain loved blue skys. He'd spent most of his childhood in a land where it always rained so it was nice to be in a place where you got to see the sun every once in a while. He preferred having an ocean nearby but you know, beggars can't be choosers. Darn Fairies.

Woah who was this chick? Have you ever met that one chick who just looks utterly displeased to be walking this world? Man just look at her. Spooky. Well not spooky, but damn crack a smile! Oh god she wasn't stopping. She was coming down the same alley as him. Ah man. Now he had to do that there where you have to pretend that you're not looking at them, because you don't want to make eye contact.

Geez what does a person do in a situation like this? This. This is why Gawain let's gwynevere handle all the social interactions, and such.

Oh god! look up ahead. That trashcan. It's in just the right position. It'll narrow the path just enough that there wont' be room for them to both pass by. So one of them is going to have to slow down so the other can pass.

It should be Gawain. Be a knight. Make way for the lady. Aww man but just look at her! She's so utterly unenthused about the world! He narrowed his eyes as they pretended to not to look at her. There was no way he was going to back down on this.

Palace squinted her eyes. There was another person coming down the road. He looked like he got picked on a lot as a child, be cause he was big. Like muscles upon muscles big. Pale as an albatross too. What was wrong with him. The moment he saw Palace walk down the road he turned his head so he was looking at the wall next to him. What the heck? Did he think she didn't notice him no noticing her? She may not have had sharingan, but even she could tell what he was doing. What a loser.

They passed by each other, when they got to the trashcan. Neither stopping for the other so they ended up bumping and knocking a trashcan over. Ohhhh heck no!

"Excuse you!" Palace spat as she was nudged into the cans. "Watch where you're going you big ape! I'm walking!" Her eyes were furious, and her hands were held up in a way as if to say 'I'm going to attack you now.' She was practically Royalty around here. How dare this buffoon not make way for her?

What an uncouth animal she was. She could learn a thing or two from the princess don't you think? Gawain wasn't too keen on picking fights, but.... wait a second that was exactly in his nature! Carelessly as if he was discarding a ball of trash he pushed Palace away from him. He shoved her by her face, and met her with cocky grin. "You know one of the key things about being a ninja is sizing up your opponent."

"I couldn't agree more." Palace grunted. She pulled back from the brute, and weave a few hand seals before exhaling a cloud of acidic mist. She wasn't crazy she wouldn't kill the guy. She'd just give him a few good burns, and teach him not to get in the way of Uchiha royalty. The walls around them began to grow slick as the stone melted thanks to the acidic gas, and it glossed down the surface.

Don't you just love the way everything breaks down in her presence? It was a neat little jutsu. One she'd grown fond of in her time as a ninja. She didn't care for physical combat all that much, and this skill made it near impossible for those skilled in Taijutsu to get to her. Well they could but... man would it hurt!

So take that Mr Bone Jangles!

Hmm so signs looked familiar, only much less complicated then the ones he'd seen performed. He let out a small chuckle. He wondered how the princess would feel knowing that there was a pretender running around with one of her clan's jutsu. Hmm to loose and maintain the reputation of the princess' jutsu, or win and defend her and his own honor. Well he was going to have to win obviously.

He summoned for his bone armor quicker than the acid could melt his face off. He sealed up his body making an airtight seal around himself. The boiling mist was an annoying little trick both nothing that Gawain couldn't overcome. "Sorry little girl. I serve a stronger boil user than yourself. You can't touch me." He took a couched position, and prepared for her. "But you can try if you like."

Palace took a step back upon seeing this guy secret some sort of white substance from his body. 'Bone?' she wondered seeing it cover the entirety of his being. It looked pretty tough, she wasn't sure she'd be able to break through it on her own. She did however scoff a bit as she saw the bone melt despite all his bravado. You can gloat and brag all you like, but all things degrade under the steady hand of her mist. So this guy knew about the boil release? Well good for him. At least he'd know how he was defeated this day. So there was another who used Boil release? Well that was interesting. As far as palace knew it was an ability completely unique to herself. She wan't sure if she liked the idea of another person running around melting things or not. Well that all depended if they were actually stronger than her or not. Perhaps she'd have a word with this guys master after she defeated him.

She drew two kunai from her robe. This guy, was toast. With his air tight armor rapidly melting away It couldn't be so tough that it could resist these thing. She charged in a kunai in each hand. With a short leap she jump onto his chest, placing both of her dainty feet upon his armor covered pecs. She thrust her kunai into his shoulders careful to avoid anything major. She didn't want to kill the poor guys just teach him to show respect around a member of the Uchiha clan.

With both of the Kunai in his shoulders she'd push off from his chest kicking him into the opposite wall. It'd be pretty hard for him to counter this considering that he had his eyes covered by his armor. Otherwise he'd melt out his own eyeballs now wouldn't he?

Indeed Gawain did have his eyes covered and was unable to see the attack coming, and indeed his armor was melting, and indeed she did perform her attack. Indeed his armor had lost a few points of durability but it was still strong enough to resist her kunai attack. However he felt her feet collide with his chest, and his morbid curiosity got the better of him. He allowed her armor to be pierced, just to see what the girl had up her sleeves.

He felt the two sharp daggers dig into his shoulders, and he grunted slightly. She wasn't even trying to kill him. At this point the corrosive mist would be disappearing, from his experience around it at least. As she stabbed into him and his armor had finished melting Gawain allowed for his mask to disintegrate. They were face to face roughly, het met her gaze with a wild bloodlust of his own. A bestial grin spread over his face. His skin was seared slightly by the remaining gas. "Hello there." He purred, grabbing her by the shoulders before she could kick off.

With the girl now in his firm grip he slammed his skull against her's several times, before throwing her against the opposite was. As he watched her clatter against the brick, he held his head in his hand. He knew he shouldn't be fighting this girl like this. It was dishonorable, not to mention rude in his adoptive home. All that may have been true, but seeing her crumpled there on the floor? Well it was just too much fun.

Palace's head was throbbing! She didn't know who this guy was but he had an iron plated skull! She could feel a small trickle of blood running down her forehead. Okay now he'd made her mad. With a grunt she activated her Sharingan. She'd show this low brow filth just who he was messing with.

She was an Uchiha! And Uchiha! She was practically Royalty in this town, then this filth comes around and tries to pull something like this? Well She'd show him.

On legs that felt like rubber she rose. He'd pay, she swore he'd pay. She sprinted around the Armored Ninja's side, she with drew five shuriken from her satchel and sent them flying into his side. She then sprinted around to his back, and drew her kunai. His face was unprotected now, she'd carve that clever tongue right out of his face!

"I didn't say you could go ANYWHERE!" Gawain roared. As this girl circled around him, he held out his arm. His skeleton burst from his flesh, his arm tore through it's flesh prison and extended it's way over towards Palace's body. He'd use the appendage to clothesline her and send her flying back towards the wall with a heavy thump. With a sick cracking his extended bone arm broke off from his skeleton and fell to the ground. His left arm hung limply to his side as the bones in his arms began to knit themselves back together. God that was painful, he loved it. He looked at the girl once more, his bloodlust was beginning to wane she wasn't as strong as an opponent as he'd thought she would be. Rather disappointing. A knight only draws blood from the worthy, and she wasn't one of them. He'd deliver a swift kick to her face, and then knock her out cleanly, ending their little schism.

Who was this guy? Some kind of monster? Who just grows arms like that out of nowhere? Her heart was pulsing, her heart was pounding, and he could taste blood in her mouth. He was beyond anyone she'd ever dealt with before. Her red eyes looked at him as he slowly approached her. What was he? His arm hung to his side like a useless lump of flesh, she could attack from that side. If only she could gain the energy to move.

She looked into his eyes, they were crazed. Mad, but not in an angry sense. He was going to kill her. Maim her, god she was going to die.

He was upon her now, his hulking mass all but assured to destroy her utterly. She felt a pain in her eyes, similar to the kind she felt when her child was born. Another Tomoe. To her it seemed as if Gawain had slowed down, but that was only her eyes working over time. Still even with that enhanced ability she couldn't find the strength to move out of the way! She could only stare helplessly as he raised his foot, and sent it colliding with her face.

Haha! Sir Gawain, protector of the realm, knight of honor, beater of young women. Hear his name and fear it's meaning. For he among all men just kicked a girl in the face. Feeear him.

He looked down at her crumpled body and sighed. Well this wasn't going to look good on his reputation. He sighed and slung the girl over his shoulder. The least he could do was leave her somewhere safe.
