Appearance: Basic traditional garb, long dark hair usually kept in a knot or a beaded and feathered braid down the back


Personality: Growing up with disinterested and busy parents, Aoimara never really bonded in any kind of family or friend circle, which allowed her to develop a cool and collected "roll with the punches" outlook, but also stunted her ability to connect to other ideas or people. Generally described as vexing and a bit detatched. Aoi doesn't really try to hide anything unless she is actively pursuing some interest, and her dry manner of saying even rude things can be off-putting to some types. She finds those who put on airs or disguise their intentions just as off-putting however, and generally just flat out ignores them. Wily but not overly self-aware, Aoimara can determine easily enough the effect she's having on a person but generally not deduce why or how. It's assumed she probably never had enough interest to develop the skill. Not good at giving directions, but excellent at instinctual navigation, she utilizes nature and energy to keep her bearings and extend her journeys into unfamiliar territory. While not always the best choice for team jobs with certain types of peers, she does easily and readily befriend animals and both the young and the old to accompany her or liven up the day. She takes some pride in the ease with which she can do this as a mark of good character, even though her intentions aren't really clear for doing so. Easily bored by monotony, she will almost always go out of her way and over the top to avoid things "Staying the same for too long" because the feeling of stagnating is suffocating and intolerable to her. She will break her generally flat affect and become more and more outrageous when she feels bored or stuck until the issue is resolved.

History: Grew up and recieved all her training in Ukiyoe, found it generally dull and spent most of her time wandering the sands passively observing the desert animals lives. She holds a great respect for the mechanics and brutality of nature, and enjoyed sketching chimeras of her favorite animal champions with idealized or interesting features. On particularly dull days, she would find entertainment in the people of the village, slyly but childishly stirring up trouble between strangers and friends alike. This held no ill intent, but still caused some social turbulence and made friendships tricky for her. She would vacation from boredom in her elaborate but haphazard looking forts in various locations (up trees, under outcroppings, etc...) and gathering materials and inspiration for building and tinkering with these structures. Often gone for days at a time exploring, this was not seen as out of the ordinary by her acquaintances. Also within the spectrum of normal Aoimara antics was bringing home interesting insects or small animals. She has never lived outside of Kaze no Kuni that she can recall, but wouldn't mind the adventure of moving, feeling no particular attachment to places based on their names and governments.
