What it does: The Ito Ito no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to create and manipulate strings, making the user a String Human.

The Ito Ito no Mi provides the user the ability to manipulate people with strings by attaching them to their spines, similar to puppetry however in this form the person must have a willpower below C rank to be affected by this and it will take up three of their ten available at this rank strings. Offensively, the strings can be used to cut through matter such as body parts or weapons. The strings can also be used to connect to clouds, thus providing aerial transportation. The maximum length of these strings is unknown, but they can be made long enough to reach from Green Bit to Dressrosa, as well as connect to the clouds. The strings can be compressed in bundles for various constructions. The strings are rumored to be versatile, and they say someone with an awakened form of this can even perform an emergency stitching of their internal organs should they be damaged, but of course no user can with this form.

The strength and sharpness of the strings are one rank below the user's strength in this form, they are quite visible and their health is two ranks lower than the user's. However these strings can be banded together to increase their strength, in this form once one forms four strings together they can increase a rank in strength and sharpness, if all ten are combined then it increases by two ranks in this form. The strings in this form only come from the user's fingertips. In this form the range the strings may extend to in battle is thirty meters.
