What it does: The Suna Suna no Mi is a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to create, control, and transform into sand at will, turning the user into a Sand Human.

This fruit is quite powerful, even among Logia, as it allows for a greater variety of abilities, rather than just normal element control. It also allows the user to locate quicksand, set off sandstorms and absorb liquids(though the last is only available in it's awakened state). Such a variety is not seen with any other Logia. It is also the first and only known Logia type fruit that can naturally counteract its own weakness, and is even stronger in desert areas.

It allows the user to transform into sand at will, as well as control it. The transformation is the speed of the user's baseline Reaction Speed stat without any boosts. The user can control the sand at a speed of their chakra capacity stat. This fruit also allows the user to detect anyone within two hundred meters of them if they are upon the sand, and this includes below them in sandy areas.

However, the user turns solid when in contact with liquids, including blood. The standard weakness of Ocean water also applies.

The chakra cost for manipulation of sand other than the self is C-A dependent on the amount used(will make chart if abused). They may manipulate the sand up to thirty meters, and the sand moves at their locomotive speed, has the strength of one rank lower than the user's health, and a health of one rank lower than their chakra capacity.
