What it does: Wiki says: After forming the required hand seals, the user creates an enormous statue-like creature out of wood. This humanoid creature with a full body and an oni-like face is usually created with a wooden dragon wrapped around its torso, and is generally used in battle as an avatar. The wooden dragon can be multiplied and be used to attack its enemies directly as well. This creature is stated to be as powerful as the Nine-Tails,[1] and could catch an uncompressed Tailed Beast Ball fired by the latter.[2] It could even clash against the likes of Madara Uchiha's Complete Body — Susanoo.
The user must maintain the snake handseal the entire time they are controlling this technique. If the user releases the Snake hand seal then there is a 3 post cool down before they can manipulate the golem again. The golem and the wooden dragon may be freely manipulated by the user. The golem itself is 50 meters tall with arms 16 meters in length. The dragon is 50 meters long from the tip if its tail to the end of its mouth. The dragon may be manipulated up to 30 meters away from the golem in any direction but cannot completely separate from the golem. The golem may move about freely with the same range of motion a character would have as it is mainly an avatar in a fight. The dragon and golem form and move at S rank Speed. If a limb or the dragon of the golem is severed it can no longer be manipulated and will not regrow. It takes a sharpness/power/strength stat of S rank to sever a limb. Other Mokuton techniques may be channeled through the golem.

Wood release has a unique ability to absorb chakra. This jutsu will absorb 1 B rank from any target in contact with any part of this technique per post they are in contact as long as the user is still manipulating the wood.
