Roland Finds the Truth!

Kikato would have sped from the beach, through the sand storm, which he made note to get goggles for people to help get through it, and then straight to the kage building before anyone could say anything, perfect timing even for the Receptionist to be gone, Kikato would step into the office and set the kid down, the chair was spun towards the window so that no one could see if any one was sitting in it, he would then look into the seat shook his head a moment as if he was looking as a sleeping person in the seat then sat down, he would then spin around in the chair and give a soft smile as he would announce "Now that we are in a safer and more formal area, I am Kikato Rinku, First Kazekage of Ukiyoe town, and over the entire land of wind, Welcome, Now first order of business, I believe your ready for at least B-rank missions, so Im promoting you to B-rank status, as well, after some time of training with me, we will get a full reading on your skills, and from there, things will happen accordingly, anything you would like to say?" Kikato would ask as he would reach over the desk, lift up his Kage hat and placed it on his head

Roland noted the Kage building in the rush that they went through, Kikato was much faster than he had anticipated at first and their journey was over quite suddenly. Along the way he noted the sharp contrast between the old place he resided in, and this new home. It was almost night and day, but Roland decided he liked this much better, his blue eyes flashed as quickly as possible soaking in all the sights. Due to this Roland would not place two and six together until after Kikato reintroduced himself, what normally would have been obvious upon seeing the empty office had crept up on him with his mental pants down. Bowing to his new teacher, the Kazekage he listened carefully to his words before nodding. "I Accept this honor from you and will promise not to let you down. I shall strive to keep up as best as I can in order to best serve you" Roland had oft repeated these words, but this was the first time the old chant had actually been truthful coming from his lips. It seemed the Ootsutsuki had finally found his home.

Kikato let out a warm laugh and pushed towards the edge of the desk a ukiyoe Headband and he would ask him "Well think you could trust your kage? I am sorry for the with holding of information young one, but as I noted to you when we met, its best not to divulge everything at once to a stranger" Kikato would let out a soft sigh, as he untensed, he was home and he trusted no harm would come to him while in the protection of his own home

"You did not lie, so why would I distrust you?" Roland asked as he pulled down his mask and let a smirk cross his face. The ninja admired cunning, and was not off-put too much by this revelation at least not to the point of insult, not even near. Roland grabbed the headband in that same motion and continued it fluidly over his hair, bringing his other hand up he adjusted the band to fit upon his head. "I am grateful for your acceptance of me" Roland said as he bowed once more to his new Kage.

"I can tell your well talented, and even honed skills, I am glad to have you on my side of things, and I am glad to get you away from the drowl place you were in, Im glad to have One I can teach my ways to, I have been wanting a student of my own for some time now, and you offered that, Now there will be times where I will not jump in, as it is not a masters place to interfere in his students fights, and I expect you to not step into mine without orders to do so, I am here to teach you, not use you as a shield, if anything, you might say I want to be used to put it bluntly" Kikato gave the boy a smile and then he would stand up and walked over to what looked like a wardrobe and opened it up, and he would wave the boy over and pointed to the three swords inside "Please pick one" he would wait to see which the boy would grab

"It is not often I come across those in my life who did not wish me as a tool, I was raised to expect it. I, truly must thank you for regarding me as something else. I will listen to your words as closely as I can" Roland responded before standing up, and looking at awe at the three swords. There was only ever one choice, one thing that responded to his soul it was almost as if a thread was stitched between the two. Yes, it almost seemed like a part of his soul was in the sword on the far left. The sword was three and a half feet long, it was not a katana but rather a slender scimitar with a slight curve to it to allow for better slicing and rolling maneuvers. The blade was a deep blue-grey of an odd metallic substance and it's hilt was a light blue and black colored masterpiece. The hilt had a guard which wrapped around the entire hand except for a single part for the wrist to go through, the cage seemed to be made of the same material as the blade and shone a bright, light blue while the actual hilt for grasping was a dull black. The sword's sheath carried pictures of various sorts of walls and seemingly opaque barriers repelling monstrous attacks. In the middle there was a figure wearing a mask, holding the blade and repelling multiple attacks without lifting a finger. Roland almost began to hunger for the blade, he could not believe that such a beautifully crafted thing would be given to him, especially after he received one of the legendary swords.

Kikato would chuckle softly after Roland had moved over to look into the wardrobe, we watched the quick glances at all the blades, but then watched as the boy was almost drooling over the one on the left, and he reached in and handed it to the boy and he would say "Now I know that you are ment to be my student, cause these swords are special, I was told that only people ment to be my students would feel the connection with the blade as you did, they are called Zanpakuto, beyond that I do not know, other then the fact that they are a piece of your soul, so this is ment to be yours" Kikato offer him the soft smile

Roland's eyes widened to almost unbelievable proportions for one's who's now blue orbs where often covered halfway by their lids as his new Teacher had confirmed his suspicion. It was in fact a piece of his soul, this Zanpakuto, he had already decided he would cherish this gift though not as much as the one of a new home. Nothing truly could outshine that thing that his kinsman Kikato had done for him that day, but this came pretty damn close. "Thank you Sensei, thank you for this great honor. I fear I may never make up for what you have done for me today" Roland said finally prying his eyes away from the Zanpakuto with the blue hilt.

Kikato would close the door of the wardrobe and usher Roland down stairs to the armory, and he would pull roland to a special room, inside the room was three armor stands, but Kikato was certain there was on specific for Roland, and he would show Roland the Armor on the stand to the left

"Correct you are Sensei" Roland would beam as he was lead to the armor on the left, the set matched the gift of his weapon perfectly in color. It looked like a relic from some distant forgotten past, but it looked like it was well up-kept. More than that however, Roland could still feel the lingering spiritual energy within the armor, he knew it would accent his skills. Roland reverently began to run his right hand over the armor, as if committing it to memory.

"That is yours as well Roland, found this while scouring the Desert and I brought it back here and cleaned it up" He chuckled softly, and then tapped his chin "well if that is all, then for now you may go and get used to the village, get to know its people, I have some paperwork to catch up on" with that Kikato would turn around and head back to his office to start on his paperwork

"Thank you Kazekage, I will not forget this. Let me know the moment you need me" Roland's tone had then returned to normal, but the doofy smile remained upon his face. Gathering up the armor, he quickly had his hands full to the point that he had to open the door with his foot "Thanks again Kikato" and with that Roland went out to explore his new home.
