Ajani seeks Sponsership

Ajani had been a wanderer for awhile in these lands, but he was starting to run low on funds, so he was thinking he could become a mercenary for the local lord of the lands, and maybe teach his armies or lead them for some time, he would approach the gates and shout out, the long white haired man with an eye patch, and no shirt, black pants, and battle scars across his muscles his voice rang out "greetings my Name is Ajani, I seek to speak with this lands leader" and he would wait at the gates

Three unnamed ninja(Elite Response Unit upgrade) would arrive at the gates swiftly upon hearing the stranger's request. They had already informed Kirito that someone was asking for an audience and he told them he would grant it. The ninja in the middle would speak. "The Hokage has granted you an audience and is awaiting you in his chambers. Please, enter Tanzaku City and be warned. If you act upon any ill intentions you will be met with a swift death." he would say, granting the white haired stranger entrance.

Ajani would give a slight bow while the gates open and once they were open enough he would slip inbetween them, and then he would head the way he was directed to go, about fifeteen minutes walking around he arrived at his destination and would walk in, looking around for the leader of the lands, and he would bellow out with his deep voice "I am Ajani, are you the Leader of these lands?" he asked as he looked around trying to see if he could spot the person

Kirito heard the voice of who he assumed to be the one his ERU had told him about. Apparently his name was Ajani. "Hello Ajani. My name is Kirito and I am the leader of these lands. May I ask why you have requested an audience with me?" he would say to the newcomer. He was sincerely interested in the reasoning behind the request. It wasn't often Kirito had an outsider looking to meet with him.

Ajani looked around after he spotted the man, did not take very long and the man even addressed him, good, Ajani would ask "Are we alone?" he knows this may come of as a little like a assassin, but that was not his intentions, he would continue on anyways "I was wondering if you would like a little more power in your army, either by one more person, or elite training for the lot of them, You see I am seeking employment, tho my fare my not be cheap, I am well worth the price" he would wait for the reactions before taking his next step

It was an odd question to ask but a fair one. Kirito understood that some matters were best discussed in private and he was confident in his ability to react to danger anyway. "Yes we are alone." he would say as he activated his 3 tomoe sharingan, just in case. He said his price may be steep but he was worth the price. Kirito wondered just how capable the man was. He had no objection to having a mercenary to call upon but he would not simply allow a stranger to train his ninja. "I would hear your price for both options. But first, know that I will not allow a stranger to train my men. However hiring you as a mercenary is acceptable. Perhaps once I have seen your skills in more detail I would be open to allowing you to train the Tanzaku Ninja."

"My Price, is 100,000 of whatever it is you call your currency, and as for my powers is why I asked if we are alone" He would then suddenly begin to morph, his hair seemed to wrap around his body and replace his skin, his muscles grew, and he even grew taller, his eye patch would fall off and reveal the bad scar and his blinded eye, his face shaped like a lions, his hands grew claws, his teeth became more carnivorus looking, and his eye would look at the red eyes of the leader, so seemed he could make changes happen as well, but to what degree? Ajani stood there in his Leonin form, and his armor seemed to appear on him, as it only fit while in leonine form "This is a taste of my power sir, it does more then just look, I also gain attributes of a lion, see I was born what is called a Leonin, and im a outcast from my pride, i eventually stumbled upon your...Plane of exsistance, and it changed me slightly, giving me this ability, so do I seem worth the price?" his scars on his body could tell a experienced fighter, he had been in many of battles, and some were great, but he still stood to this day, meaning he had to be more skilled or more lucky then any opponent he fought thus far

Kirito wasn't surprised to hear that Ajani's price was 100,000ryo. He was surprised to hear that he apparently came from a different dimension, which was confirmed when he suddenly morphed into a half human half lion in front of Kirito. His body was covered in scars. Kirito could only guess he had been in many battles. The fact he was standing before him attested to his abilities. Kirito was curious to see what else Ajani could do. He would grant his request, giving him time to see Ajani in action and make further assessments. "I can honestly say I was not expecting that. From your scars I would assume you have been in many battles correct? If so your ability to stand before me today attests to your abilities. I will grant your price Ajani the Leonin. You will be a mercenary for Tanzaku. Prove yourself, and you may be rewarded further."

Ajani would place a fist over his heart, as was a mercenary's custom, as they did not trust enough to bow to people, Ajani would speak as he morphed out of his leonine form "Thank you very much your Lord, and yes I have been in many battles, some I would not consider wins" He thought back to the day he lost his friend Elspeth, that was a tragedy indeed, and then even further back to the day his brother was killed, and he found his brother body killed by his own ax, and then another pertaining to his brother, finding his best friend was the one who killed him, Ajani would shake his head out of the funk , his long hair back, his armor gone, he leaned down and picked up the eye patch and put it back on, he would continue to say " I am also a rather accomplished healer, and I have been known to boost the morale of men higher then they themselves thought they could reach, if you ever have need of me, please get a hold of me, as I am in your service, I will do almost anything you ask, please remember I do have the right to say no if it goes against my code of honor" he would await Kirito's remark and for the money

This was a fair thing to say. Kirito was sincerely looking forward to seeing Ajani in action even more now. He pulled out 100k ryo from the stash he kept on him as he didn't completely trust that the village funds wouldn't be stolen. He handed the Leonin the ryo and made some last comments before dismissing the mercenary. "That is fair. I will not make you act against your code of honor. I am glad to hear you are a skilled healer. Your services will be most appreciated indeed. Here is the ryo you requested. Ryo is what we call our currency here. If ever you are in need of assistance or need answers to other questions feel free to come to me. I will aid you as much as possible while you are mine to command. I take care of my allies. If there is nothing else, you are dismissed. Please make yourself at home here in Tanzaku." If Ajani had any other statements or questions Kirito would answer them in kind.

Ajani would accept the ryo and once more put his hand over his chest "Thank you your lordship, and I shall" and with that he would spin around and head towards the door, exiting the building of the lords, and heading to the bazaar, he was sure to find some good deals there, and he would a wait the summon form the lord when he was needed
